I kind of debated which section to toss this up in, but I figure what I need to know is a bit outside of the norm for this product, kind of.
I tried this for thrips, and it fucking sucks for a large issue situation, infact, the little fuckers are happy as can be, however, its fucking murders powdery mildew. And here in lays my question, I'm 35 days into flower, the closest to harvest is 6 weeks away. Whats the situation with spraying this this far into flower from a residue stand point, and from a damage to pistils stand point, I know the leaves are fine after it, as it is a neem based product, and have sprayed in veg already of course. I've been using a product called benomyl for the pm in flower, which is rather harsh on the girls, and really not that effective to be honest anymore, it was taken off the market a little while back cause they say it losses it effectiveness after a while if you dont totally eliminate the issue, but anyway, there it is, thanks ahead of time guys for the help.

CAPO

Make sure and do a proper soil drench as well as above and below leaves. I fukn hate thrips and I had a battle royale with them one round. I would alternate from Azamax to another like Monterey Bay or equivalent as thrips become immune to insectacide just like mites can.
When to stop in flowering is a tough question, but I can tell you it is not as harsh on pistils as say...Serenade.

Cool man, ya i figured where it was a neem based product it wouldnt be too bad, and its not a pollination run or anything, so you know, i just hate to the pistils die off ya know. But if it kill sthe dew, well fuck it eh.
I was thinking of doing that, going from one to the other, and actually its the monterey stuff I have on the way now i think. Hope it works, cause going back in the room 4 hours after the spray, and the fuckers were funnin marathons around the leaves, soil drench wouldnt have dont a thing on those fuckers there, but now sm 90 on the other hand might do me well, but i think i may have to mix a touch too strong on that one.

Did you try that Monterey Organics yet? I use the Stylet Oil for PM and can spray it way late in flower with no damage. Even Green Cure is pretty solid all the way up til harvest if sprayed light enough. I've also heard azamax being most effective as a soil drench to kill em systemically (mites)....

Sigh, I wish my man I wish. Ok, heres how it goes up here in canada for the spinosad products. Only one place sells a small amount in the entire country, and you have to have a special pesticide license to carry and spray it. Same license obviously for the un processed spinosad, and that cost about 700 bucks for the smallest size of 450 odd grams of the shit. So, my buddy is sending me some sad from ole cali forn i a! So i hope that will be here soon. I just sprayed the little cocksuckers with dr doom, and that stuff does a pretty heavy job on em, so i should be back on the winning end after tonight, then the spinosad should seal the deal, i fuckin hope!

GRAMTOWN

organicide. burns them lil bitches right up and its not harsh on the plant at all. to me it seems as if the plants take it as a foliar feeding. makes the leaves extra shiny and healthier

I'll look into the organicide too there man, thanks for the tip. Been trying to find green cure to TG, don't think its carried up here either, lol, what a list of products I have here to try, holy fuck. But the main thing is right now I'm safe to spray the azamax this far in for the mildew issue as capo said. I doubt it would be any worry in terms spraying now and when I harvest, but gonna have to do some looking into how far from harvest I can go.

Ive used Azamax for white flies and it worked great. It didn't kill them on contact though. I sprayed and the flies were still happy as can be the next day. I kept spraying every few days though, and in a week or so every single white fly was dead. I know your using it for thrips, but just thought Id mention that it takes a while for the Azamax to affect the bugs, but it definitely worked! In fact, its the only thing that worked out of anything I tried!

As far as pm, Eagle20 works like a miracle cure! I only sprayed my veg plants once and the pm never came back! I was batteling the dreaded pm for many months! I used everything from Benomyl to Green Cure to a Sulfur Burner and nothing! Do your self a favor, get some Eagle20, you'll thank me later!!!

Hey there buddy, I don't post too much but when i saw this i knew i had too. I also use azamax and it did indeed affect my pistils. They burnt a little. Def went very dry red prematurely. Just a little forewarning. Other than that the plant took the spray just fine. I did not care for the pistil burn so Ive turned to no sprays after 2 weeks flower. As far as Azamax goes im about to give up . works well as a precautionary spray but does not to much on a hoard of mites. Ive heard the Floromite is better. Good luck man . Kill those bastards!

I've used Azamax in your exact situation before. As stated above, soil drench and soak top and bottom of leaves, and reapply every three to four days for three to four applications. You are far enough into flower where you may get some residual leftovers in your flowers (not much if any), but I feel Neem derivatives like Azamax are one of the better options at that point

Oh I'll thank you now my friend, lol, never know, this might finally let us be able to thank each other.

Well, the drench it is than my man, thats one thing I've never done, out of fear of course. Once mixed what about phing, does it balance easily, just ask instead of test, cause this stuff isnt in Canada either, and I drop 150 bones to get this shit. Also, what do you think about a high ph spray for the next couple days after to help clean it off, like one spray a day. I've been using the old above 8 ph spray here and there to help keep this benomyl shit from drying out my leaves, which i now know has been an issue with my grows as of late too, so just started doing that day after spray While using this shit.

And guys, thanks to everyone for helping me out with these things, bugs that can live here are extremely strong and resilient, and the vast weather changes make for a pm heaven. It can start at -10C at 7 am here, by 1 pm can be 20 or more, and back down to 3 a couple hours after that, ole Newfie is an interesting place, we had snow last week.

I use hotshots no pest strips and a friend of mine didn't have the strips and had a bad infestation of thrips and I've never had them. He finally got the hotshots and while it killed off all his fungus gnats it couldn't even dent the thrips. He moved his vegging plants into another room and set off a bug bomb in there with them and they died the next day. He then put them into the bathtub and rinsed the leaves off slowly with shower water. The thrips were gone for good. I never did the bug bomb I always just add more strips or pick up some kind of pyrethrum spray like fox farms dont bug me and if you search I saw another thread that home depot has an organic pyrethrum spray also but not sure what its called I know it kills thrips on contact.

Hey bro, sorry, missed this one before. Thanks for the heads up man, luckily I cant spray it now anyway, lol, its all gone. Man, GH is makin their money on that one boys, i dont think its worth it, for me to do what it recommends in my garden, would cost me over $700!
The spinosad will be here next week, then they die once and for all.

Thanks for the help there man, thats what I've been finding the best on them lately too, dr doom, which as I'm sure you konw is a pyrethium spray, fucking vaporizes the little bastards. I cant set off a bomb in my house cause of the way the air exchange is, the veg and mom rooms recirculate through the house, so id poison me and the animals. Oh I've dreamt of going and just letting a bunch of bombs go all around the house and killing everything.
Never tried any of fox farms pest control, used their nute line for a few years though, I'll have to look into it.

bb my friend. I forgot yesterday to ask u if u have tried this here:

http://www.sanniesshop.com/plant-vitality-plus.html

I heard from alot people that it work wonders. Btw sannie got some fuckin dope gear too :D

if nothing helps. use vertimec or abametin.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...fd9f1bf&itemid=200448629439&ff4=263602_263622

but like i said if u ever consider using this u have to do some research.

peace mayne

Cool bro, thanks for the links to those. I'm gonna give the spinosad a try here first since its on the way, and everyone tells me its the miracle fix for these cocksuckers. Man I miss my 2-3 lbs per light, and its because of these fuckin things and the god damn mildew, everything else is fixed now, so I know what it is, not that I had many doubts to begin with, lol.

So folks, since I've last posted this is whats been done, the original spray I already mentioned of the azamax, then I did a full soil drench on every veg/mom I have, with no ill effects to be seen. Then after that, turned out the lights and did every single plant with dr doom, so 2 days in a row of different sprays, plus a drench, and now tomorrow I'm gonna mix it up agian and hit with end all(out of azamax), oh these fuckers are gonna die, oh they're gonna die, ha, haha, hahhahahahahhahhahhahaahghaghaghahhafgba

Yeah it takes a few sprays over a period of a week or so of Azamax to see results(they're not imediate). Ive never done a soil drench, but it worked for me when nothing else did. And again, Eagle 20 will take care of the PM FOR GOOD!

Hate to hear your having troubles. Those lil sum bitches suck ass. I had thrips and fungus gnats in my first room. It was a little house so I went around the outside and sprayed with deadly toxic chemicals every week or two. It kept the bugs from making home close to the house. Then I cleaned out the room and moved the plants into another part of the house...dark peroiod. Set off a pyrethrum bomb. Came back six hours later and put boric acid powder on the floor. Swept it under the trimwork around the room. Mopped up the extra leaving a little powder under the trim. Aired out the room and moved things back in. Then I set bombs off in each section of the house. Came back a day later and aired out the rest of the house. Blah Blah, I just know how much it sucks to be spraying all the time. Like it wasn't already enough work. I feel your pain bro!

I have some AZAMAX. I was going to use it for my outdoor. Think it would work for a few small plants?

Ya bro I remember your issues with the pm, that was a hard go you had too. I'll see if they let eagle20 in the country, good damn fuckin Canada, apparently our government is afraid of everything.

Shit man, I did most of that with the moving and the sterilization, and all that, only thing is, cant set off that bomb, fuck!
For small plants it wouldnt be too bad I guess, but yu have to mix a fair amount per gallon, so it goes fast. If your gonna do repeat sprays you'll need a coule bottles I'd say. I'll give it this though, its not harsh on the greenery at all, the plants seem to like it in veg.

Yeah it was small little room with little tiny plants and it was still damn near imposible to get rid of them.

I'll give it a try then. It might hold them back enough to get alittle head stash out of it.

Good luck man.
