Ive used Azamax for white flies and it worked great. It didn't kill them on contact though. I sprayed and the flies were still happy as can be the next day. I kept spraying every few days though, and in a week or so every single white fly was dead. I know your using it for thrips, but just thought Id mention that it takes a while for the Azamax to affect the bugs, but it definitely worked! In fact, its the only thing that worked out of anything I tried!
As far as pm, Eagle20 works like a miracle cure! I only sprayed my veg plants once and the pm never came back! I was batteling the dreaded pm for many months! I used everything from Benomyl to Green Cure to a Sulfur Burner and nothing! Do your self a favor, get some Eagle20, you'll thank me later!!!
I've used Azamax in your exact situation before. As stated above, soil drench and soak top and bottom of leaves, and reapply every three to four days for three to four applications. You are far enough into flower where you may get some residual leftovers in your flowers (not much if any), but I feel Neem derivatives like Azamax are one of the better options at that point
Hey there buddy, I don't post too much but when i saw this i knew i had too. I also use azamax and it did indeed affect my pistils. They burnt a little. Def went very dry red prematurely. Just a little forewarning. Other than that the plant took the spray just fine. I did not care for the pistil burn so Ive turned to no sprays after 2 weeks flower. As far as Azamax goes im about to give up . works well as a precautionary spray but does not to much on a hoard of mites. Ive heard the Floromite is better. Good luck man . Kill those bastards!
I use hotshots no pest strips and a friend of mine didn't have the strips and had a bad infestation of thrips and I've never had them. He finally got the hotshots and while it killed off all his fungus gnats it couldn't even dent the thrips. He moved his vegging plants into another room and set off a bug bomb in there with them and they died the next day. He then put them into the bathtub and rinsed the leaves off slowly with shower water. The thrips were gone for good. I never did the bug bomb I always just add more strips or pick up some kind of pyrethrum spray like fox farms dont bug me and if you search I saw another thread that home depot has an organic pyrethrum spray also but not sure what its called I know it kills thrips on contact.

Hate to hear your having troubles. Those lil sum bitches suck ass. I had thrips and fungus gnats in my first room. It was a little house so I went around the outside and sprayed with deadly toxic chemicals every week or two. It kept the bugs from making home close to the house. Then I cleaned out the room and moved the plants into another part of the house...dark peroiod. Set off a pyrethrum bomb. Came back six hours later and put boric acid powder on the floor. Swept it under the trimwork around the room. Mopped up the extra leaving a little powder under the trim. Aired out the room and moved things back in. Then I set bombs off in each section of the house. Came back a day later and aired out the rest of the house. Blah Blah, I just know how much it sucks to be spraying all the time. Like it wasn't already enough work. I feel your pain bro!
I have some AZAMAX. I was going to use it for my outdoor. Think it would work for a few small plants?
