so the ak47 grew some, made a potential mom from taking the top of the damage Green crack, so 3 potential moms of GC. they will give me 4/5 nice clones with chemo seeds to make up for the other clones moms not being ready to use yet.

of the 4 ratty blue dream cuts i was going to trash. 1 got the ax. and the other 3 actually have new growth. though one cupped up real bad today. so moved it further away from the already cool smaLl led's. be nice to have 2 blue dream moms but 1 good one will do. i really fucked up making 4 cuts out of a really large rooted clone of the BD, BY NOT TAKING DUE DILIGENCE. GRRR

will likely get caught in a mini perpetual as the master kush gives up at least one good clone to add to the mix. hope i can finish the 2nd round.

I'm still rusty as it's been 9 yrs out of the saddle. just seeing them up close and watching them is so relaxing the little time i spend with them. i turned the heat up for them. 74 now and i'm sure they appreciate it. i been keeping them under grown cause i have a small window of opportunity that i have to meet in a weird way. if not all of them would be small bushes lol.

will try to see if the 250 mh works. if so it will be the true veg/clone light.
if not i'll get a 4ft. 4 bulb t5. will flower with 600 digital non-dim-able. gorilla shorty because i might have to move to another area that has height restrictions.
new fan, new filter, coco medium along with grostones, CNS 17 coco formula. i got the bloom additive just to test it with and without. if i don't see a difference i'll use it up and not buy it again.

just need to get those pain in the ass little tent fans that suck. i hope to come up with an alternative that i'm content with. of course plants can't get over 3.5 ft max. optimize light penetration and bud building. ) that's the plan anyway lol.
mind you all the plants 7 total look better now than in these pics.

p.s. will do a small pollen chuck to see if i will work a couple of the crosses if they turn out well . i've chosen some names already maybe one last name is tentative.

all those were devastated by broad mites. i 've had spider mites and pm at the same time before. actually my last gro before shutdown. never got whipped like those broad mites did me though.

flip side is ii started a new marathon. ran into issues only 3 plants were close to death. now they are back on the road to a good recovery. after adding a 250 mh they should do damn well. hope to have 2 of 3 be ladies or 3 for 3. if i get a male i'm going to use some pollen and save some pollen.

so u can see the plants were suffering and then started a recovery that i didn't think was possible. i used 10 yr old green light root stimulator to fix the nute deficiency and those old nutes worked. it pays to give them a chance i always say lol.

Tested the 250 mh that allows me not to spend for led’s for veg just yet. Based on quantum board pricing at budget grow ights dot com I can bypass HLG’s gear and save $ with no loss in quality .
I’ll pull the trigger eventually for sure .

So, things are advancing with the 3 little pigs. they are on 12/12 just to sex them. 2 of 3 are girls and though the other might be a male i'm still rooting for a lady. all will get topped regardless and made into either mothers and a daddy or 3 moms. after further declaration i'll let them taste the 250 mh and i expect them to grow with serious intent lol. found the fixture for the 250 mh today so should be good. it 's a cheapo HID hut version but no biggy.

a quantum board will end up taking over for a veg/clone and momma light no doubt. i have time to save and by them things will have changed a bit so far as what is being offered. was going to go with HLG but chose to spend coin with budget grow lights because getting the same basic stuff for a better price and a 3 yr. warranty. i already asked a couple of questions twice and they respond quickly and nicely too. didn't think i'd ever consider led's for serious growing but cost of operation and lowering cost of the fixtures/kits has made me change my mind. That ans seeing the results of others who have already made the switch. now will use a 600 hps digital non dimmable to flower with. in the future i still want to grab a 1,000 w digital dimmable ballast to get those bigger buds that will be self grown and a goal since first using a 400 hps with awesome success.

So, the spider is a jumping spider which are my favorite spiders since a kid. he/she was on a web while we were taking a group picture at our annual tai chi picnic this past sunday. i saw it and new it was a spider. so it eventually attached it's self to a comrade and i went and got it. i thought it was a jumping spider then was like maybe not. until i actually started taking pictures of it and it jumped on the phone then went up my arm until i let it ride a wave to my other hand. i tried to get it out of harms way from being stepped on by as i looked on the ground i couldn't find it. smdh

that bud isn't going to last and have already started to partake of the small morsel. almost out of puff but no biggy I'll survive. got a couple options but his price is 40 $ bucks higher than if i travel even with the small expense of fare. i haven't got a new plug in that area but i'll find one. not much trust where i am a bunch of assholes who either price gouging or selling a fake name on the weed they have. not to mention they are still spaying/dipping that shit = lovely/sherm. assholes to the max and they keep doing it because their customers are freaking idiots who don't know better and in many cases don't care. fuk them all imho. rant over

Hi folks,
the above adventure ended badly because of light leaks smdh. hermied everything to various degrees and chopped early cause i needed to get a real grow underway. also the colder temps didn't helpo the rootzone either.

so, basically this is an update to my thread elsewhere "Time to get this marathon started"

strains are Warriors Tonic via Purpose genetics and Capn' Shiva's Crunch Berries same source.
i accilmated them to more light using the 250 mh. and then switched to 600 hps hung vertical style with a fan blowing up from below the light. haven't even opened my new gorilla shorty as well as other shit like new filter and fan etc etc. .
the vert style basement temps are low enough to grow green without being too hot. thankfully these strains don't stink in flower.

i expect to be done both end of the month. crunch berries is coming down this week end just getting plain water .
warriors tonic the read hairy bitches will get fed once/twice more then water only. There is one crunch berries femals that's about a month behind and she's doing well. can't take could pictures of her sprawled out structure. = because of how i fucked with her in veg.

only thing left in veg are a young adult lady not sure if it's warriors tonic or crunchberries. this was a get her done grow not a real attempt at doing more runs of them right away. learned some about them and that will make the next time i run them easier and more efficient to say the least. all of the plants were vegged under 3 x 9 watt led's and later added a shop light that's all. i did it like that because i wasn't sure if i was going to get a house inspection so i was preparing to keep shit small and hide the ones that were bigger. all did well under the 3 small led;s and it surprised me quite a bit. i can definitely see why folks are switching like crazy to leds in various ways.

not the best picture quality and of course the hps doesn't help. i did use regular light and turned off the hps to take pictures and most of those pictures sucked so bad i deleted them. aprox 29. smdh. i've been using the phone but added a few pics to the computer today to make using the laptop easier.

more pictures. i forgot to mention medium. used espoma organic originally , no issues and i like it. then tried bio bizz light and it was nice as well. i tried to get that again but pricing and shipping wouldn't allow it. so i went back to epsoma.

i use greenlight it for seedlings, transplanting and when i want roots to be well established before the plants are ready for their next phase. manufacturer discontinued. my bottle is 11yrs old. ijs my replacment will likely be dyna gro liquid knl , not sure i'll cross tha bridge later.

more pictures still as this grow has been going on the last couple of months so those 3 seedlings came out the fridge 4th one was a no show. didn't mark the seeds though. maybe rhino blood created by Mr. G. one could be fulsom prison blues created by indican. not sure. biggest two were just fimmed the other day about 6/7 th node. the problem child seems like it wants to live but still doesn't seem to like something. idk you will see them in a later post.

i droped 5 secret sauce beans. lost one and other 4 didn't pop up. i've never planted in soil before seeing a tap root after soaking in water. so i will not be doing that method again. i tried it cause many folks do it. back to seeing a tap root for me thanks lol.
