A little story followed by a few questions
It seems growing has gotten very complicated . Perhaps because the majority are growing indoors?
Story:
Back In the day I lived on the island of kauai up in the Homesteads just out of Kappa town.
We would put a handful of seeds in a tall styrafoam (sp?) cup, fill it with tap water and wait for them to sprout.
Once they did we'd carefully grap up a few and put them in soil filled smaller styrafoam cups and soak them with miracle grow and water solution.
The cups were put on large plastic bread trays which kept the cups off the ground and allowed water drainage then placed out side under a mesh screen and watered when necessary.
Once they reached 6" or so they were transplanted one more time into large tumbler sized cups, watered with miracle grow and water solition and put back under mesh.
When they got to a foot, each were taken out of there cups and laid on their sides into coolers and backs packs.
Now the real work began hiking them up into the ravens finding the perfect spot to plant several patches in different locations.
They were visited just a few times during their growth cycle. First was to locate any male plants and pull out the weak ones. Second to check progress and cut fan leaves, the third to harvest. From start to finish relatively simple.
Today it appears to be a much more of a scientific parts per parts of one thing or another. And unfortunately I am no scientist.
Questions:
As one might gather I am at a loss. I have a one car sized garage. Is there anyone who can share their knowledge on a method they've found works best for indoor growing. Such as the use of a tent to keep them isolated. Best grow lights and space between each plant etc. Anything would be very appreciated.
