I agree but I'm wondering if he could take cuts from it or is the plant too stressed to give clean cuts?
PH should be 6.5 to 7 is that not correct. And I am taking cuttings to try not to lose the strains. One of which I have had for 24 years.

Just thinking it may be a good way for him to save the genetics if they're something special or he doesn't have fundage for seeds.
Just to clarify guys, because it seems to be all my replies are from men. THIS grower is a women.I do realise this is another male dominated industry, but women do grow as well. Thanks.

I’d bomb it with fertilizer and see if it comes back. Got nothing to lose. The yellow leaves, weird deficiency symptoms, dark woody seems all tell me it needs probably 2x the nutrients it’s been getting.

I never took any large fan leaves off. But yes, it does look like a nitrogen deficiency. Although I have used the same plant food for many years. My one other thought was. I mix my own potting soil, same as for many years. Adding in worm castings for nitrogen, but my supplier changed brands, so I now sell a product that doesn't even look like worm castings, but supposedly with a mix of nutrients. I dont have a bag to look at the list. I now have gone to another supplier to buy worm castings. I do have young plants that so far look healthy with this mix I am using. Although the test I did two days ago showed a neutral reading, if not slightly alkaline.
Ya, I don't use the worm castings all the time, I'm synthetic all the way I use a General Hydroponic 3 part in Promix type soils........Greenworlds VPW30 tomorrow.$35 / 3.8cu/ft bale. I will add the castings to the soil when they're young & in small pots if I have it. .I don't usually have deficiencies following their feed schedule with or without. I'm out for a bag of soil though tomorrow and I should pic up a large bag of casting while I'm at it....Good reminder...

Thats what I am doing. I realise it probably won't help with this plant , but with the smaller ones coming through. Signs are looking promising.

there’s lots of female members here on the farm..
thanks
CannaGranny has drop in page with a few other women members along with a few guys,,,if you need help or can offer any then I'm sure she'd welcome you to say hi. I'm old...like 70 old so...there's all sorts here....

I don't want to use too many chemicals products, as my plants are used to the production of medical oils etc.

That's not correct. for soil, 6.1-6.4 is best. 7 is just about certain to give you lockout of several nutrients. I believe that's your main problem, if you've gotten rid of your mites.
