If that's your light.

Then a 6" 400cfm inline fan,
matching 400 cfm phresh filter,
And fan controller.
will be perfect for your setup.

You could even add the restriction of an intake filter and probably still be good on temps.

I agree 2 of those would be good in your 2x4 tent :)

so something like this:

then i would need a fan too right inline fan.

and yeah that is my light.. it showed up on Friday night. open it dismoring.. im happy with the purchase but its to fucking bright hurts my eyes. had to use the light adjuster to even take a picture., hah. its garenteed not to burn plants.. but i think that is because of the point-meter, not the cobs.. but who knows.. i went with LED because of heat i would have to deal with this summer.

it has a 3 year warranty, made in cali. yeah i need 2 for sure.. but im only gonna grow 4 plants and hopefully get a female. heh.

If you want the system to have a nice overhead and to account for restrictions/ future upgrades
I'd go with the canfan 8" inline (520cfm).

$109 here

Coupled with the 500 cfm inline carbon scrubber you picked just cheaper here it says.

Or you could get the 6" ho canfan inline 427 cfm

Matched with a 6" 400 cfm phresh filter.

i think that is the way to go. quick 300.00 ( i was originally thinking 180.00 but that was probably a no name filter which probably defeats the purpose. )heh. almost a second light. blah. at least this shit should last i guess. ill recharge the filter, or try to instead of buying a new one when i wear this one out.

ill need a adjuster too correct. regulator, etc.. with that fan

Yes canfan is a reputable inline fan company. Quality stuff that will last for a long time and run quieter than other fans.

And phresh is a top notch carbon filter producer.
Mine is still filtering great after 1 year of constant use. Many people agree Well worth it.

Yeah you need a fan speed controller.

I'd suggest lookin at some of the titancontrols products. I just tried their website but it was down.

I'm running a mercury 4 multi mode temp based fan controller in both my tents on both fans. A 6" & a 4" canfan inline.

i think that is the wrong fan. heh. it has 8 in the title.. i assume that means 8" yeah?

Have one to sell? Sell now

id want 6" correct.

You want the fan and the filter to be close in cfm.
You could use a 8" to 6" adapter to connect ducting to the inline for the 500 cfm combo.

Or you could use the 6" 427 cfm fan with the "6×"16 400cfm carbon filter

Either way you want close to 1:1 on the fan:filter cfm ratio. That way the air has ample dwell time to be scrubbed clean. If it's pulled through too fast it doesn't get fully scrubbed. Too slow and the charcoal filter doesn't get fully/evenly utilized.

ok thank you.
then this will work for me.. as i do not want to mes with adapters.. just want to keep this stupid simple.. as im brain dead these days. learning to think again is a trip by the way. hah.
that sounds way fucked up to say but its true.

well i did find this one..

Here is an update on the runt/mutant critical super silver haze.

She has 1 node that auto split into 2 tips. This is my first experience with it in real life.

She is growing slow.
But it's only because she shares a small veg area with (1) 5000k 1600 lumen led bulb.

Think of it like a slow growing holding area. It allows me to put a plant on standby if all other locations are full.

The runt is in a 3 gallon pot.
Under the low lighting conditions. I feel that she will last a few weeks inside of it before needing a transplant.

This should time we'll with the beasts planned harvest schedule. Once the main flowering chamber has been emptied. I'll be able to transplant her into the 10 gallon pot and let her veg out FOC style.

While that is occurring I'll be training the new beast clone to be my keeper monocrop.

I'm considering taking a cut of #3.
I feel she didn't get a fair chance to be flowered to her full potential.

She stretched too much in flower and burnt a few tops. Then I had to turn 4 of the 8 bulbs off to drop the temps and salvage the rest. I let her wilt bad In flower after our kitty was put down.

But all things considered she has a skunky style smell and her frosty levels are good for what wasn't burnt lol. I bet if I flowered her in a better space she would be a keeper too.

But if I had to choose between the beast and the #3 pheno right now. I'd choose the beast. It just has many great traits. So I think I'll let #3 slip through my hands.
The beast vlives on!!!

To all of you tagging along.
You already know the significance of these pictures

The Beast clone taken a few weeks deep in flower off the original beast mother. It was a branch that never made it to the blue zone.

But instead of adding it to my ROLS.
I figured I would attempt to clone and reveg the cut. The vigor, bushiness structure, resiliance etc. It truly is an elite cut. It was my last chance at saving it's genetics.

A few weeks later under 24hr lighting she has roots,
But she still needs to snap out of flower and into veg mode.

I'm ready to see those leaves start to green up and grow. The Beast is gonna be my keeper for a little bit :)

If it turns out to be too good maybe I'll have to send a cut back to @thunderfudge . Maybe He could design a beast line just for me :D.

NICE SAVE ON THE BEAST MAN!!!!!!!!! Definitely a keeper for sure. Is that Wheat Grass in the low light holding area? awesome! That beast clone is on point with your training game. @incogneato what title should this legendary trainer be given or does he already have one?

I see you are steering @jipp in the right direction. Just to add to the same perspective I also use a 6" 449cfm inline(Vortex) with a fan speed controller(Variac Variable Transformer) and a 6 x 16" (Phresh Filter). They work very well for me. I used to have a cheap Hydrofarm fanspeed controller but my fan always made an annoying humming sound. Then i read this thread "Buying the Correct Fan speed Controller" got the Variac and my problems went away. I'm assuming the Titan Controls is on the same level. They are top notch. I just would not get the cheap hydrofarm speed controller hahahaha.

He did name it, what do you call it @rmoltis ? Field of colas? On the fan I have a 845 cfm fan pulling air through my 4x4 veg tent and through my 8x4 bloom room. Still sucks the sides of the tent in at idle.

What the FOC I know that! hahaha love that term. I mean the trainer rmoltis himself. Surely he deserves a title for his epic training efforts. I thought you would have a good one in mind:D

Yeah the field of cola's FOC technique.

I figured it's not a screen it's a field.
And the goal is to have as many vertical cola's as possible all even height as best as possible.

I'll make a write up someday on it. I just need to make some illustrations.

Ahhh, gotcha. Gonna have to wrk on that one....let's brainstorm it up. For now: Martha FOCker? Max Yeild?...its a work in progress lol

From start to harvest.
This whole experience has been great.

I lucked out on a bagseed that turned out to be beautiful. I did not expect to get one with color to it. This one seems to have purple everywhere.

I enjoyed using the earth juice lineup. The earth juice nutes never burned her at any stage of her life. But lack of experience showed me I could have used more of certain nutrients at certain times.

The smell she put off today when I opened the tent after 50+ hrs in the dark was pretty skunky. She stinks like a skunk but when I touch the flowers and smell my fingers she has a sour apple/Berry kinda smell to her.

I will be interested in seeing how she smells/tastes after a good cure.

On a side note. Can you re veg a stump? Specifically one with no vegetation left just a small "1 tall stump.
Typically on a reveg you need some shoots or vegetation left. But weirder things have happened. Give the stump a try and see what shakes. Unless space and time is an issue. I personally think the beast has some Sour Larry or fruity pebbles in the genes..
