Let seedling #4 have 1 more night and this morning all 3 branches & nodes had male pre-flowers.

So it got pulled along with its matching clone
Here is the root zone.

He was loving life.

But I shredded his root ball back into my soil bucket.

I mixed it all up by hand thoroughly.

Then I dumped 2 cups of my aerated nutrient tea in the top spread out as much as possible. Then mixed soil thoroughly again.

Once done and the soil moisture was even. I used my spray bottle to mist the top layer before I put the lid on. This would raise humidity as well as soak into the soil.

I've been slowly trying to reuse soil.
This will be the first real attempt.
I have been letting fan leaves I trimmed off dry up sometimes. Then I turn Them to dust back in the soil. I'm now adding roots and used soil this week. As well as just now adding the microbial aerated nutrient tea.

I have the 2 males I pulled in pieces in the fridge waiting to be eaten. Gonna make a smoothie stems, branches, roots and all.

Don't worry I washed all the dirt off.
How many weeks from seed til I should be able to sex plants in veg?

To be honest all my grows haven't shown until a few days after flip

These are the first 2 to show signs so early. I guess it's just a roll of the dice for each seed lol.

I also have a suspicion males like to show earlier than females so they can get pollinating early in the season. To help ensure seed maturity before winter.

ROLS is what it is called and it is a great way to conserve cost and always have living microbes in your soil. Very sdustainable approach. That SDxQ you smoked when you were here soooo many xmas'a ago. ....LOL was grown out in ROLS and the August POTM Cornbread I grew was in 3rd generation ROLS.

Go carefully with attempting to ID sex early using the primordia signs as you can get trick fukked and cull females thinkin they are males. Just a word of caution. Love ya man.

Yep or vise vera I had a choc strawbs and I would have bet my life it was a female the structure was as short and stocky as the rest of the females I've never seen a male like it tbh I think I e got a few pics somewhere if I can find them I will post :)

Once you have a nice little plant you can flip to flower for 10 days and just flip it back to veg. It also helps to keep them kinda rootbound when doing this because they show sex and flip back to veg a lot faster. I can sex a seed in about a month with the extra room.. then just repot it and keep going in veg after it shows. Last time i did it was with a pack of locomotion. .. but i got tricked when i bought them and regs ended up being fems. so the process was a waste

No worries chief.
I was positive they were male.
I usually try my best to give them more time to show. but once I see the pods all over the plant it is not longer a remote incident. It is male.

On the positive side the males were the runt and the tallest stretcher.

Leaving me the 2 medium sized vigorous growing plants.

As long as I have just 1 female left I will be good.

I can't recommend the root bound method bro I've had em that don't wanna come back not even after months the clones are still weird

That would make sense as males tend to be taller than the galz so they can drop their jizz all over them. Like a porn film

My current flowering ladies were rootbound a few weeks and stopped growing before I got to transplant them into bigger pots then the bigger chamber.

A few weeks under the mh with nutrients they came back around.

I know this is what I'm talking about sometimes they just don't wanna stop I'm not saying this happens all the time but if your luck is anything like mine has been over the years it will probably happen to your most prized beans
I have never lost a prized bean, Nope not once not never. LMAO yea right!!!!

Pretty shit pic but this is a clone that was took from a mum that had got root bound and re pot about 6 weeks before the clone was taken

I dont really have favorites. .. i just grow it all.. it just chaps my ass when im supposed to be getting regs and i get fems. The whole deal with sexing while root bound is... you flip the light add pk and wait 10 days... then when you flip back to veg its easier to flush out the pk and get back to a nitrogen cycle when its in a small cup... its a lot harder to flush the pk when its in a huge pot. Then when back to veg you pot up and continue on the nitrogen cycle till its big enough for your liking. I haven't met too many plants that didnt like it. As far as clones though.. i have taken cuts in flower that were a pain in the ass to get back to veg. No matter how you play with the npk or lights
