Bag Seed Hunting & The Lst Adventure

Time for an update on seedling street. #2 #3 #1 #4 (runt) I couldn't coax my cat out of the way. But I got what pictures I could. She has made the lower tent hers lol. This has been a daily occurrence since she first discovered/experienced it.

These females are swelling everyday!

My hps light spoiled the left half of the pics sorry guys lol.

But these should give a nice impression of each ones individual shape.

Turns out seedling #1 is a male.

This is the first time a plant has ever shown sex from seed in my lower veg chamber. Must be a virile male. I better isolate him as soon as I can.

Maybe when my 2nd tent gets here I'll have a good place for him. I wouldn't mind some pollen. (@thunderfudge if I made any crosses with your genetics it would be personal stash only). maybe some for @jumpincactus if you gave me the ok ;)

Catching him this early is good. It leads me to guess I may have as many as 3 females left.

This means I can train them more to compensate for the missing plant.
Usually once I flip them for sexing. The chance for training is over.

Hopefully the rest will reveal themselves too. It would make my job much easier.

And so it begins...

I've had a Bluetooth speaker now for over a year made by ECOXGEAR.
it is called the ecostone.

I've dropped this thing off 6 foot tall scaffolding onto concrete floors many times. People run over going oh shit your radio. And I say can you put it back up here plz lol. They're amazed everytime.

Or the days I get paint on it from spraying and I dunk it in a 5 gallon bucket of water to clean it off. People go damn your gonna ruin that. I just laugh or smile.

I've had it right next to me on decks while pressure washing.

I've also brought it in the shower so I can sing while no one's home :love1:

The sound was always good too.
2 small front speakers 12 watts each.
And a small sub on the rear.
Was loud enough for smaller workspaces without bothering tenant or other trades.

The battery would play for 12hrs at %75 volume. Outlasting most workdays. And that's running on bluetooth too!

Friends love it.
Co workers love it.
Wife likes it.

So I noticed costco stocked a new ECOXGEAR model called the ecoboulder. That's because it's their biggest rugged speaker yet.

The msrp of $250.
Amazon and costco carry for $179.

But costco had them on sale for $149.99 beating any competitors.

I had to get myself an early present.
Some jobs were big and my little radio wouldn't cut it. This boulder would/will.

On the big loud open jobs I'll be rocking with the boulder. It says 100 watts and plays for 10+hrs on %100 volume.

Waterproof mp3 or phone storage on the side with auxiliary port and USB charging port inside, am/fm radio, Bluetooth, pull out handle and rugged roller wheels.

But I will keep my little one for small offices and stuff. Places I can't bother people with cranked music.

No matter which one I use...
The long lasting batteries on both is amazing. Outlasting any workday on a full charge.

And on jobs with no power it has been a big save for jobsite morale. Not just for me but other trades too.

%90+ of old timer construction guys have old plug in radios only lol. Get with the times guys :-P

Ya know i am in awe that the pistils arent receeding...........that's amazing! I have so much to learn about late flowering plants and what they could throw at me. Shit it took me a year just to realize i was harvesting early but then again i had noone helping me, it was all trial and error.

Take it easy on us old farts. Keep that shit up and you might not get old lol. I hate change and fight new tec tooth and nail. But my son would love this on the job. He keeps our scaffolds rocking. Little pricey and kinda big to take to work and trash it.
I was just thinking yesterday that I need to upgrade to bluetooth lol. My ipod is not. I'm so old.

See that warranty on the bottom right hand corner? That's my language! I dont understand bluetooth as it pertains to cellphones but i bet my wife would figure it out within notime. Shit i still got yamaha tape decks dude, and i have pics if needed lmao!

Yes learning to guage ripeness can be tricky. I too am working on refining my understanding.

I think this round they will be fatter than ever. Good thing I like go outside my comfort zone once in a while.

Most of what we learn will be from good, bad, & neutral experiences.

It is Hard to push it until the final day without being scared to go over sometimes. It is a feeling that time and experience rids us of.

Lately I go by trichomes or brown hairs. Usually both together.

So humbled by this plant R, and in a good way! This next round i'll do my experiance justice, i was really lazy getting my 3-4 ladies into flower, but they are extremely sticky, and gooey at week 4 of flower so theres something to be excited about eh? I honestly don't know if i could have your patience towards those ladies without having a calming influence such a syourself around me to keep me grounded lol, hey i tell no lies man!

LOL I just like poking fun cause many jobsite guys have 50yr old looking plug in antique jobsite radios lol.
Some days I feel they're gonna break if I have to unplug or move.

The battery power and Bluetooth are great. I can rock out on a powerless jobsite. Usually making it so Noone has a radio but me. Feels good on some jobs. The trades expect me to so morale will rise.

I forget my radio 1 day every once in a while and the site is asking me where it's at lol.

Music makes my work day so much more enjoyable. I sing and work and time flies. Leaving me happy all day.

The $$investment is worth it for the daily happiness it brings .

Plus after getting it painted, dropped, scratched, dunked. You realize that you bought it "for" a work radio. It costs $$ to ensure it will take a beating. But will keep on ticking.

I like to invest in experiences.

Hey 3yr warranty is great!
And it's much easier to use than you'd expect.

I love honesty and directness.
No judgement! The World is great when judgement is removed.

This process just takes soo long.
I figure the longer I can wait.
The larger my yield and theoretical potency my fruits will be.

Growing is an experience.
Spread it out and enjoy it.
It can be so therapeutic :)

Sometimes if you send the plants lots of love, they will return the favor by being happy and healthy.

I used to think my elder was a nutcase playing his fiddle to the corn..........but his were ALWAYS knee high by july....i am a believer in plants feeding off of the energy we bring to them!

Me too.

I try to broadcast positivity, happiness, love, warmth, care to the plants. I think like you said they feed off our energy.

It's like being social with a friend, only this friend can't move, or talk.
But it can enjoy the experiences you bring to it.

Mythbusters did an episode testing plant growth and music. I understand heavy metal is the preferred frequency of plants. I have never tested the a cannabis plant for the frequency it omits during healthy growth, but I understand a healthy tree vibrates at 200mhz and if we snap a branch, this changes to 220.
May be this is how a sightless mold spore, or a distant moth/pest makes its move, by quorum sensing the change in electrical frequency? Ergo if we defoliate our plants at times of rising SAP, we might add to the chemical bells with a pest welcoming vibration.

Don't bee's wings beats stimulate plants flowers as well? bear with me guys i am an arborist by trade. lol, Figures it would have to be metal.........ive done ok with this cd on repeat,

these plants love that song doreen!
