there's a number of theories out there.I'm running all these with less N and more PK testing the diet theory.next round I will go heavy on the N with the same seeds.
Maybe after that I'll pull 25 seeds with convex butts and 25 with concave butts and test that theory

I think it has much to do with the plant and its ratio of NPK etc resulting in may be one extra pass of Kreb or some other system imbalance to get a resultant protein which has missed its window of up regulation, the extra time or lack there of may be a huge contribution factor, but then i have seen really good plants switch too, less a hermie, more like a conscious decision by the group that one needs to change for the greater good. I have seen this more where we have direct links to a mother plant and i know from studies that trees have this parental role which manifests in plants responding differently to the same species if its not from the same family if you get me?
The more I know about plants, the ore questions I have...its a night mare LOL

Also the main man GG has some great vids showing how to use it, and what happens when he and Bomb OG do. He has both outdoor and indoor grows, specifically for you with regard this ongoing discussion, and anyone using HID, we make a neat nano milled rock with active biology which increases rates of CO2 production as well offering direct ca, mg and fe to counter the boost in a plants capacity to carry that extra light.
Never the less, it is important to state the facts. plants are like a suitcase, you can fit stuff in, may be squeeze more than you thought, but the space is finite, and so any plant will only manage x photons, dont matter how bright the light is, or for how long, the plant will just space out the collection and so transport of electrons based on its max capacity, nothing we do can really change this fact upwards, but we can of course limit it. This is why plants grow on days where the sun is intermittent, eg they over clock to collect more if there is a drop in quality, so when it breaks the cloud the plant goes mental, far exceeding its normal rate of collection and conversion, this ensure the total for the day is met, and is the reason you see some cool growers pushing the limits with lights on off schedules.

You and others might also like to know, Bomb OG is a medical user with very specific needs surrounding clean meds which BOX provides :-)

this we like, I have tested BOX against all sorts, but I am one team, the more of you that do this, the better chance we have of knowing the truth. I am entirely open to the concept that we can improve BOX, and anything like this is a great opportunity to see if we have gaps. As we all know, plants and growing styles are individual and so side by side grows allow us as BOX to understand how we might help more. I tend to have a smile at the end of the day when the tester comes back for more BOX.
One thing to mention, nutrients are the same when we discuss NPK in its most basic form, just as we might say there are cars. There are forms of NPK just as there are types of cars. All are cars at the basic level, but as buyers we know when we have a stinker, and equally we know when the bentley arrives on the drive, this is different ;-)
When I started BOX with my partners on the farm here in Tallinn, we began by knowing what was available and then we added the many years of research that has passed since most nutrients where actually developed. We took what we believe to be the best parts of each. Technically BOX is a hack of existing nutrients, adding the advances in the field, and re-purposing the format to accommodate a future where nutrients will be regulated.
Once regulations kick in, and this will happen, BOX users will be free from negative impacts, this will not be the case for many, whom will be forced to change.
Domestic nitrogen and phosphate use exceeds national agricultural use, this is alarming no?

Also, BOX is typically around 3 times more potent than an average organic nutrient line, say Bio Bizz, so 1L makes 1000L of direct nutrient feed, as a tea program, this can double easily. You can reuse your media, saving money on the downstream Feel free to check your own biologicals for spore counts, BOX KAMINO liquid tonic is 32 aerobic spores per dwg

I just wish I found it before investing in a whole line.

But you have to learn in order to know what to look for.

I didn't realize it was your line. I first saw it on motos thread and was impressed with what you guys are doing over there. Not to mention the knowledge you have, humbling to say the least. I'm using Nectar for the Gods now as they gave me a sample run for the cost of shipping but I'd love to see what I can do with better organic. I don't want to hijack rmoltis thread so could you direct me to other threads that showcase box? I'm gonna check out the YouTube channel today

Today I received more flanges and my 4" duct silencer.

From what I've heard 4 inch inline fans at full tilt are loud. And when I vent to the outside in summer I will want it quiet through the vent.

Yelling through it absorbs much of my voice. I'm assuming it will be great. Like the resonator I installed on my car here

Much more items to come in the next week. Can't wait to get my micro tent setup!!! I'll wait for everything to arrive before doing anything.

I'm getting ready to top my seedlings.
I'm not sure I will "mainline" them in the truest sense.

I will do my own interpretation on stress training & topping.
I'm gonna save 3 nodes.
2 branchs on each lower 2 nodes get trained out flat like a cross for 4 cola's.

Then the 3rd node will have 2 coming off splitting into 4 or possibly 8 making a 8-12 top bush. The lower branches should catch the top ones during training.


I figured though before I do any topping I'd take some pictures at various angles (for @thunderfudge to examine)
They are all very vigorous (except the runt but as it catches up it is speeding up.)

Also keep in mind the top growth was getting close to the t5. These genetix respond very well to conserving water. The leaves start to taco before pots are fully dry. And they relax right after watering.

The first few leaves of each plant were wierd but after a few nodes they adapted to the heat well. Growing in flatter and flatter.

They're all so lush, green, and primordial looking.
Looks like cannabis from the dinosaur era.

Check out the size of the stem on #1.
It's almost a half inch (.40") lol

While I am working on the seedlings I've placed my cats pillow inside the tent. She is enjoying her time in the tanning bed.

The topping was complete.
It wasn't exactly as expected. I accidently cut off some branches lol. Had to remove an extra node on some of em.

Gotta go with the flow.
But here are 2,3,4 and their clones.

The clones are in the shade. They need little light while forming roots.


The moms there look a little rough.
In a few days they will straighten up and look good.


I took some root pics of #1 before I shredded his root ball to recycle back into my soil.

As the soil pulled away from the pot during dry cycles. The outer roots were air pruned. But you can see the root Mass on bottom.

The whole soil is a brick lol.
Doesn't look like it but chock full of roots. Only 3 weeks and almost rootbound? Maybe that's what caused sacs to show?

I want to transfer the ladies upstairs but I have 1-2 weeks left before it's open. I hope they make it.

Didn't expect them to outgrow their pots so damn quick. These things are beast. Rootbound in 3 weeks in 1.5 gallons pots lol.

I can tell on myself too then, I have 2 plants with 7 branches instead of 8...got too tough with them in the beginning. :smoking:
