Choose the best of them all after you see what they got. Then use that 1.

Think of this round as your keeper hunt.

Then just grow that 1 plant into oblivion. Man if only I had more space...
Yea it went from a mono crop to a keeper hunt at the very beginning. To be fair most of them will go in for a second run to rule out my error, and I'll know each of them better. After that second run I'm sure I'll know who's staying and who's going. Plus there's still 3 sf x lbl and 2 DJs gold in the veg room that aren't in this run so...next run will be the elimination round. I may have overdone it with the bean poppin :sweating:

Some pics of the beast clone today.

I'm still wondering why the beast clone is showing colors but the beast is not yet.
I wonder if the mixed spectrum from the HO t5's is involved. A broader spectrum of light compared to the HPS could be a factor.

I'm happy with my small tents.

I would rather have 1 big one.

But that will come later in life.

I will tell ya having 2 chambers on my main tent made things easier for me starting out.

I could have bought a 2x2x6 single chamber tent. It could have grown taller plants. But then I would have needed to propagate somewhere else.

I'm glad I opted for the split.

I really like how efficient your tent design is. Then you combine that with your FOC technique and boom!

I think the wider spectrum may be causing the beast clone to mature faster than the beast mother.

The mother just started showing signs of color today.

You can see the pink forming on the leaf edges. It's just beginning.

remember the hps has two 5k led bulbs for supplemental lighting. And while not as broad as the t5 mixed spectrum. It's a nice spread.

The T5 chamber is twice the lumens of the hps chamber per cubic foot though. Maybe the light density is the driving force.

I forgot about that. How many lumens per in the clone chamber? I know its a ton lol

Got pics of the beast before lights on. That's rare, I usually forget until after I hear the timer click on lol.

Gotcha I completely forgot about the 5k bulbs. Yup I see that pink forming! And so once again the endless FIELD OF COLAS shows itself. Sure is a beauty to behold.

How's the smells in there? Looks like a winter forest with all those frosty tops R!

The smell is beautiful. It is light & sweet, with a hint of that typical cannabis funk in the air. The odor though will spread and fill the house quick. Which makes me paranoid leaving the tent open long.

Touch and taste is still fruity pebbles cereal. I eat a little preflower here and there. Tastes like the cereal.

I keep itchin every 30 mins or so to peek inside. I Just keep tellin myself nothing has changed lol.

She's had her tops toasted multiple times.

I had to turn off 4 out of the 8 t5 bulbs off since she stretched too much.
This limited the light penetration to the lower site's making a mess later on.

She was underwatered to the point of Wilt 3 times in flower.

And has been generally abused :-(

You guys forget about her?

without further ado here is #3 in the micro. I rotated her for each pic. They may look the same, but different sides.

Yesterday was the start of week 8 for her.

Since I had to turn off 4 bulbs the light penetration has been low. This is the first time I've defoliated so late in flower.

Yesterday I defoliated all the major fan leaves. This was in an effort to give the lower buds some light to fatten up.

Today when I opened the tent.
The buds had all swollen up bigger.
They were frostier. And the micro tent wreaked of stank for the first time.

Had me excited:D, then paranoid about the smell :sweating: lol.

But to sum it all up She is a beauty .

Just wish I had a pot with the same soil capacity but lower and flatter.

I need a low flat pot to fit the footprint of the tent better. Once I find the perfect one I can max the micro tent out better. And leave enough room to run all 8 bulbs. But I'm still working on that.

So far the micro tent has only consumed $13 in electricity :)

Glad to see The Beast is going to finish nicely. :D

Everything is looking great buddy and glad to see your journal is going well. =)

Yea he has way more control than I do. Plus tbh these beans he's running now are more than just bag seed. They're all fire crosses just got mixed up and not labeled
Yes I can back that statement up. The lines he's workin now our from our Weed Whisper buddy out of WA State. There is fire in them thar beanzzzz for sure. Just too bad the bags went thru shake n bake and none of the crosses are for sure. Thats why R needs to pheno hunt and let the WW see the pheno's to attempt to nail the crosses.
