mmm, why doesn’t the site load the videos in order as they are uploaded?
mmm?
ignore the videos, something didn’t work right when uploading..
gonna cook up tomorrow, i’ll show the end product.

Why isopropyl alcohol?

I make a lot of tincture and never have I used an isopropyl wash.

A gallon of Extractohol is available on Amazon for about $150. 190 proof food grade alcohol.

Basic recipe is 2 to 1, 2 gms decarbed flower to 1 oz alcohol. 30-60 minute soak is best. Longer removes more chlorophyll and waxes but gives a deeper taste.

well i’m in canada, can’t get that stuff here, also if there’s ANY solvent residue left in the mix the thc and cannabiniods will neutralize it.
just make sure you add a small cap full of water 5-10 drops near the end of cooking.

finished cooking, just keeping it warm to bubble off,
got between 10-13 grams of oil from 120 grams roughly of gelato buds.

got another batch ready for cooking, looks sweet,
the amount of dirt? that comes off is huge way more than you would think, had to filter this stuff through cheese cloth twice folded like 7/8 times, than let it settle, do it again with coffee filter very slowly to not disturb the dirt, than finish off with a filter through 3 coffee filters at once to get to the final result.

Doesn't the decarbing kill the flavor? Also, what is bubbling off at the end?

wasn’t really a total decarbing, that happens in the rice cooker, so just a bit to help break up the buds a bit easily.
first it’s in a rice cooker bubbling off isopropyl till pretty much the end than pour into a silicone dish to heat slower but enough to completely bubble off..
i do a mix between qwiso and rso methods, so more of a honey/hash oil..

Olde thread I know .
I made oil back in the 90's .
Just starting to play around .
Use to use a hot plate /double boiler and what ever you could come up with .
Just put my $19 rice cooker through its first use . 😎
Messy the oil is. I pour off to small bowl while more alcohol remains so cleaning is just a rinse.
I try to keep everything in pyrex if possible ,so you can wash and no waste.
Mix in a little top quality bud with oil and killer bong hits are on the menu.

I love to communicate on such topics, because I understand this and can share my experience. I had severe pain in my knee due to an injury and this time I decided to buy cbg gummies. As for me, I buy their products, which is a great solution for my health, and I'm looking for new products to help support it. What do you think about cbg gummies? Already tried them?
