I forget what side to plant the bean - pointy end down or up?
And when I get it planted, what's the optimal way to proceed to get it sprouted? How far from the light do I need to have the starter pots? And for what time duration? Can it be 18/6 until they sprout? Or does the light need to be on 24/7?
And most importantly, do my starter pots need additional watering? I think this is one of the areas I messed up on badly last time. My roots were brown and look like they rotted when I did my last transplant. How do I water these things properly while they're coming up?
