Been in flower a week maybe,should I defoliate under the canopy!

Should I defoliate under the canopy or trim any leaves to maximize bud growth on all these bud sites.also have a few skimpy bud sites growing under canopy

I want to grow the largest buds I can possible can anybody give me any tips on how to go that route

Dont need too really. Light is getting all the way through to the floor your in. If theres some really big one on top you can, but go easy. You dont have a lot of plant biomass there.

conventional wisdom says, take anything off that's under the screen. that being said, @m4s73r nailed it. you don't have a lot of biomass there. you're not in a rapid growth media. you kind of have your cards stacked against you for substantial defoliating at this point. would still clean up under the screen, you need airflow down there to avoid problems. just be conservative with it.

Until budset is complete around day 21 and do it then, I don’t like stressing them out at the most important time in its life,
