lots of tools some 100% needed imho others more toys....air conditioner humidifier, dehumidifier, osculating fans, intake& exhaust fans, wet vac to suck up spills and runoff, ph tester, ppm, tester, Temp gun for leaf temp readings, Lux /par meter..& Camera we all need pics....I may have missed some but that's a start.

In my opinion lights are your most important investment . . .
You can grow with just lights, pots, soil, nutes, seeds and water. I did fine growing in a 4x8x8 plywood box on the back side of my shop for years, HID lights, dirt from the garden in 5 gal buckets and 13-13-13 fertilizer before I ever heard of ppm, and thought ph had to do with pools . . . started learning about hydro in the 90's so I grow in coco now and think I have to have all the tools & toys.

Thanks, we are finished with the build and are looking for recommendations as to things like some mentioned here. PPM tester PH tester etc..

decide what medium and lights you are using first before buying accessories,
my grow i never ph, ppm, ec.. etc so no need to buy..
lights are most important, than good quality equipment generally industrial style for continuous use..

Get you some emergency stuff, incase things go bad like PureCrop for mold or disease and get some pest control like neem oil or other essential oils and some castile soap to spray foliar with herbal solutions for organic pest control. Maybe get an extra trellis net incase you need extra support when the plants grow. A seedling dome and heating mat for when you have new plants or clones. C02 boosters for growth. A decent sprayer to evenly water. An extra timer incase yours goes bad. Tie downs for LST. I suggest a water pump for flushing, without 1 its a bitch trust me, with the pump you can lay it in your drainage tray and leave it as the water flows into the pot, otherwise you have to keep draining the drainage tray/bucket manually which blows bug squirrel nutz so get 1 of those. Oh and a good water filter for a hose or your faucet, filter the nasty toxic out of your water instead of buying water.
