How we gonna start this, who talked me into this ? OK, OK, I`ll give it a try and we`ll see how it goes. Got started a little while ago, so we`ll just catch up.
Using Sunshine Mix #4 as my growing medium.
Using 3" coco coir pots.
Using 1 gallon plastic jugs with the bottom`s cut off as individual greenhouses.
Using Cogo`s 2 part nutes.
Using Advanced Diamond Series 300`s (DS 300) x 3

18 seeds planted directly into 3"coco coir cups in Sunshine Mix #4.
Blue - Midnight Express x 3.
Green - Tranquil Elephantizer x 3.
Yellow - Tranquil Elephantizer x White Widow x 4.
Black - Grand Daddy Purps x Black Rose x 4.
Red - Ghost Train Haze #9 x 4.

First sprout up, Tranquil Elephantizer.

7 sprouts up.

13 of 18 up.

Shit canned the 4 Grand Daddy Purps x Black Rose as no one, out of 5 or so growers could get them to sprout. Leaves 13 of 14, one Tranquil Elephantizer did not pop.

The big ceramic pot in the background, with a couple of little sprouts peeking above the rim, is full of Marigolds. Always grow `em along with my cannabis plants.

Direct sow earns points.
Drowning is suspect in some of the duds. (I know as a fellow perp)
Confusing solariums.
And bringing us through to some healthy survivors is a blessing for all of us.

You avoided a flurry of "omg overwatering".

Note: replace color code with flat plastic.
You can write words on it.

So haw many of what are you growing?
I'm ready to see them take off. (and to share the heartbreak of the males)

Hell, it`s a crapshoot, I`ll take what I get and be happy.
Two of the strains I only had 3 seeds apiece, got 5 of 6 growing.
Other 2 strains, 4 for 4.
One shit strain, 0 of 4. Now 4 or 5 others have tried these seeds, with no success, so I do not count them, they bad seeds.

My garden room can handle 8 mature girls at the most. 8 makes it a PITA to keep `em pretty, but I can make do.
Should also mention that when I water these, I only water the soil between the 2 pot rims, around the outside of the smaller and inside the larger pot. The thinking there was that the roots, contained in the small pot, would seek out the moisture outside of it`s pot. I always check the moisture level in both pots.

What don`t sound so good ? It`s always a crapshoot between the girls and the guys as to how many of each ya get. If ya mean the watering, have did it that way before, it works.

I guess I was taking the 4 or 5 people trying those seeds with no success on a larger view and not just on the ones you gave up on.
