best $250-$500 camera for photographing cannabis??

i was wondering what everone thinks about what camera and what price for an amateur photographer for taking pictures of cannabis.. i have been using my camera phone for a while now and its time to get something new... Let me know what camera you have.... And maybe post a couple pics of the camera in action.. Lets see what you guys got!!!

I point and shoot, I have no camera skill but think I can see composition well and can frame a photograph in my head but I don't know lighting at all and don't fiddle with it, point and shoot, lol

If you want good macro look for at the ratio of the camera. True Macro is 1:1 ratio which means you can within inches of your subject and still get great focus. A camera with a 1:3 ratio is still decent for macro, just depends how close you want to get.
