Do you think synthetic nutrients knock out any of the molasses goodness?I like Jack’s it only $8 to $12 and works awesome View attachment 2172421
And molasses Black Strap or robust is the best but hard to find so I use $4 at Walmart in baking section. Add 2tbs to a gallon of water in Flower and only 1/2tbs to 1 tbs in Veg View attachment 2172423
It feeds the soil all that good stuff

You can add washed a dried crushed egg shell to your medium for extra calcium not a lot though. I like to add crab & shrimp meal for calcium & chitin (source of nitrogen)
If you have a feed store near you they may carry livestock or horticultural molassass. Comes dry and liquid. I belive the dry is sprayed onto an organic granual of some kind, sometimes ground nut shells. The liquid is well liquid but it is much cheaper than the grocery store stuff.I like Jack’s it only $8 to $12 and works awesome View attachment 2172421

In my experience I don’t think so, but I could be wrong. I don’t give my plants nutes every watering so there are time it get just molasses water. My medium mix is living and the spring tails, soil mites and worms don’t seem to mind it.Do you think synthetic nutrients knock out any of the molasses goodness?
