Wow let me tell you guys this new 1000watt smart LED I just got is really something else... It allows me to switch spectrum's from White sunlight to blue, red or full spectrum... It also allows me to create custom spectrums let's say I want 20% blue 40% red and 40% White I could set my light like that... It also has a timer and allows you to change the light intensity... Honestly for the price I paid it's amazing...

How many watts does it pull from the wall?

Hint: it's not 1000.

Would not the white light be sufficient? It also contains red light it just not visible

My guess is 65 to 100 watts.

In a 2x2 thats OK to veg no problem 👍

Dang you must be an expert buddy.... How many watts is it putting out then?

I have several $75 65 watt amazon specials that do an amazing job, don't think I was trying to poo poo on your light. Plants look great 👍

Can you actually answer my question though? 🤷‍♂️

Each section has 3 chips if you look close. The "white" setting is a blue chip with a coating to make it appear white. It has no red in it. The other 2 Chips are blue and red. 📚

It was advertised as an 1000 watt light & my lux meter shows it putting off enough lumens so how can it only be 65-100 watts?
Because it's a comparison to hps lights. Led has a much more efficient conversion from watts to lumens. 📚

We can talk about it more once you find out how much your light actually draws from the wall. 👍

I was excited to maybe find another Jeff Bozos gem 💎

Yeah, you can make nice flowers with that in a 2x2. ❤🌱

I would probably just use all 3 until the last week of flowering then red red red baby. 👍
