Best Micron Screen for Bho Extraction

I was wondering what is the best Micron screen for quality and yield for Bho Extraction
im just tired of the coffie filters and the coffie filters also gets alot of bho (which i save for a diff extraction)

It depends on whether the oil will get further filtration in subsequent processing. If that is the only filtration, it needs to be filtered to a smaller pore size, than if it will be winterized and refiltered.

A #1 Wattmann lab filter starts out at about 17 microns nominal, and does a good job for single pass filtering, once the cake builds and the pore size drops. Regardless of what pore size a simple filter starts out at, it reduces in pore size as the pores clog.

My concern with an ultra fine single pass filter, is that it would rapidly clog and deadhead.

gw so once u get under 20u run risk of clog ?
