best mulch for indoor growers

what do you use for mulch indoors? I don't want to bring leaves from outside because of bugs. Should I use straw or I also read some people use a layer of coco?

Hmm i've never had the need to do mulch indoors. What's the medium your using to grow with? Now i've seen totally organic boxes big ones that use a cover crop. What size pot you using? I've heard of " rice hulls " that's alot lighter won't compact the soil down.

I'm using build a soil for my first grow. I guess it's to prevent evaporation. I think they do sell rice hulls. I'll look at that.

You can use straw. It’s kind of a mess.
