Best strains to use when making waxes/budders

I've found certain strains are much easier to get to a waxey/buddery state that others. I'd like to know what some of your guys favorites/least favorites are.

I find OGs and Kush strains work very well and surprisingly (to me at least) Chemdog doesn't get waxey at all.

I've found that SSH and Blue Dream get powdery unless a very low or no heat purge was used, but they were extremely sweet and fruity tasting.

Sour Diesel- Best left as oil IMO

What's your bud of choice?

For budder I love to use Urkle, lovely flavor and a strong indica knock down if taken at the proper day.

banana kush makes great "butter" every time i like to reheat and turn it to glass though. 19-23% turn out

Jack Herer does not imo because it turned right into glass and 22.5% bomb

but what i want to know is why u want butter and not hard rock or glass bho.

all purps have buttered for me also. 16-22% great stuff

I find the budder/wax consistency just easier to work with. My stuff usually comes out rock hard then I warm it til it melts and give it a few whips. Depending on strain some "budder" some powder.
