Best time to take cutting for a new mother?

So I have a few plants I'm ready to flip to 12/12, theres a Jack the Ripper plant that I want to take a few cuttings from to make a mother. When is the best time to do this? Right now before I switch the lights, or should I wait until the stretch is over?

Before the flip or at least the first week so you don't have to revert.

Before you switch over. But you have about 7 days to take all the you need into flower. Me personally would never take plants into flower until I have seen the rooted clones kicking ass before I make that move to ensure we are ready to start a new batch.

I keep my Clone Kit going 24-7. I take cuttings from my vegging plants when ever a vacancy appears in the Clone Kit.
