Best way to dehydrate material before extraction? New to forum and need help.

If someone knows a thread about this id be great. Ive made extracts: rosins, mct, bubble hash. All solvent-less except for Tinct up to this point and i need some help. Got a pump, chamber, 1.5” closed tube extractor, butane, and all the previous know how and equipment. Any help would be great.

I believe with bho it’s better to do fresh frozen.
