Bestgrowlights dot com? Bad or terrible?

Just wondering if anyone has ordered from Bestgrowlights.com before? I am trying to get a reflector from them, ordered last week, and still not yet shipped. So far I have received one terse, kinda rude email response, but have sent really kind replies. No answers to my recent emails and I am starting to wonder if these guys are not legit or if they are just slow and bad customer service?

I ordered from these guys to save 20 dollars, should have ordered from one of my regulars! :(

They have a nice web site. Below is what is listed regarding their shipping policy:

"Shipping Time: From the time you place your order to delivery is usually 5 to 7 business days in the continental United States. If items are backordered or if there are other unforeseen problems, delivery could take as much as 3 weeks. Call or email us to check on your order if it is taking longer than you expect."

I've never heard of them before....... check Better Business Bureau for complaints and issues.

No way dude. Cancel your order, and if the company gives you guff, drop the losers and cancel the authroization with your credit card company - you might want to notify them immediately that you expect a disputed charge.

I like discount-hydro - if I phone in my order by noon it goes out that day and I have it here next day - I live in the one day coverage area and I dont pay extra for shipping.

I call in the order because they will process it faster at DH...

htgsupply recently went downhill bigtime imo - their website dont work right for ordering and they have a lot less items in the inventory, not sure whats up with them lately...

I used to use them all the time - last time I went to order a light there was no link to buy it - went to dh and they havnt given me a reason to go back.

I would 2nd discount hydro.. I dont even live anywhere close to cali and I feel like I get my order quicker than other vendors I've tried.

Seems like the prices were better before they moved into the new shop, but I still but alot of stuff from there :)

I'm not really sure what the problem with htgsupply is - I've ordered from them lots of times, very recently in fact, and have never had a problem.

Their package prices, especially on digital HID's and quality reflectors, are the best I've found anywhere.

If you can't order for a particular item it's prolly b/c they are out of stock on that item - I think that is pretty standard behavior for online stores and htgsupply's certainly function better than most of the competitors.

Well, finally got email and tracking number from them. Package just shipped today. So they are legit, just very slow. Basically if you have lots of time and want to save few bucks could be ok, but next time i will pay little more for someplace that can get orders out quicker.

Just ordered something from New England Hydro for first time, off ebay, and package sent out same day. I have ordered from DH before and agree turn around is good. Will use them again next time.
