Buy a timer before you leave.

Either route would most likely make your girls a tad upset....

Depends if your in flower or veg? If they are in veg leave lights on.
If in flower leave lights off as you don't wanna get them revegging...or stress em.
If in flower the light off for a day will be less stressful than 24hr light.

Been through many power outages in my years, a lot without a geny and some with.
Never had a one day darkness ruin anything as long as you continue the schedule like clockwork the next day.

All good advice! +1
Spend the money on the timer man, you wont regret it.
If you cant swing it then sure, just leave them in darkness for the time being.
But you really should pick up a timer as soon as you can afford it.

If and when you buy a timer, go for a digital one as these can handle alot more power than the old dial analogue ones, as these can sometimes fail..

Think they are about the same price nowadays...

Best of luck

Word. If you can afford the gas to get to your mountain place, then you can scrounge up the change for a timer, hell even a cheapie will do.
