Big fan leaves curling away from light?

I'm growing four plants in 3 gal.pots under a 250w hps light. I just flipped into flowering about 4 days ago. I noticed a few of the bigget fan leaves are growing away from light rather than towards it. Does this indicate plants are too close to light? I have about 9" away from bulb but have fan blowing on them so when I hold hand under light it doesn't feel too hot.

I know its hard to see pics under a light but not how my plant is reaching up to the light and not shying? Thats what u want raise your rig.
