Strain : LA Pure Kush
Method Smoked : Luke Wilson Bubbler, Glass sherlock dry, pipes, bongs , etc. Over all smoked it in a variety of fashions.
APPEARANCE
Didn't get a chance to get the best photos of this particular strain, but:
SMELL
Dominant smell of bud :Earthy mocha coffee kushyness
Associated smells of bud : Floral, slight muskyness, skunkyness most present from afar, but not when your nose is right up in it.
TASTE
Dominant flavour :earthy, kushy mocha coffeeness
Associated flavours :skunky mocha after taste
Harsh/smoothness : (1-10, 1 being extremely harsh and 10 being extremely smooth)
- cough factor? : yes/no, only if you take a large enough hit, but this stuff was flushed and cured very well.
BUZZ
Profile : Percentage of head to body (e.g. 30% head70% body)
Potency : (1-10, 1 being extremely weak and 10 being extremely potent)7.5-8, definitely a creeper. It doesn't hit you full force all at once, but more so smoothly and gradually increases in both the head and body buzz. I like it because its something you can continue to smoke on and enjoy without over doing it. Its not a one hit and quit it.
Duration : (approx length of buzz, from first hit) The first hour gradually brings you up, the hour after maintains a nice indica high and gradually decreases in effect around 2 hours in for another hour unit all affects have worn off
Use : Daytime/Bedtime: It is great for an early morning wake and bake but may make you want to go back to sleep. I would def. recommend smoking it an hour before bed. The first hour is awakening and active followed by a relaxing sleep aid after. Its very relaxing, but it is functional.
Munchies? : yes, but not too intense as some others i've had, which is a good thing in my opinion./no

Overall this is a very nice strain. Not quite as resinous as Pre-98, very similar is taste and smell, though i think less potent. None-the-less, it is a very enjoyable smoke and compliments coffee well.
Based on my own experiences, this strain is good medicinally for:
-Anti-anxiety
-pain relief
-anti-depression
-anti anxiety
-boredom
-muscle relaxer
-Appatite stimulant
based on affects and appearance, I'd say this strain seems to be less amber in trichs
