Well crud, I could very easily be having a stoner moment. I just might be mistaking you for someone else judging by your response. Friend of mine and I found a bunch of seeds in a lb of GSC a few months back at his SJ dispesary. Same batch I did a smoke report on here. Great great strain too btw.

The animal crackers is what caught my eye, same friend was telling me about it. I could have misheard what the animal cracker cross was. I dunno could we have a mutual friend maybe? Either way you have some dynamite stuff going and I hope those girls flourish beasty nuggs.

Deep Chunk aka Purple Monkey Balls and Mendo Death Cabbage. I moniker i totally love. That's another awesome strain too.

Sorry for any confusion hehe, I'm well medicated today... doing laundry.
Take care and happy holidays.

No worries mate. That makes a lot more sense LOL. I wonder if we share the same friends, thats always cool, most of mine are in your neck of the woods. I however, am VERY far away from the that side of the country, making it quite remarkable to have sourced everything.

As for you asking about the genetics of the cp/cookie lineage, here is the break down:

Cherry Pie: (GDP x Durban Poison x OG Kush male)

GSC: (CP x OG Kush male) ...just a backcrossed CP to the OG

Animal Cookies: (GSC x Fire OG Male)

Yea im excited to try out the Mendo Death Cabbage (really liking that nickname btw...fits it PERFECT ha)

Thanks for following along and the kind encouragement, I hope you stick around!

Day 15 Flower

Time for an Update:

Currently in flower: (Day 15 of 65-70)
-4 SFV OG Kush in double stacked 2L bottles (Super Cropped, Topped, LSTed).
-1 SFV OG Kush in a Large pot with tomato cage (Super cropped, Topped, LSTed)
-1 Outkast's Blue Berry Sativa in a Large pot with tomato cage (Super cropped, Topped, LSTed)
-1 LVPK in a Large pot with tomato cage (Super cropped, Topped, LSTed)

(these Pictures were taken before being watered)

Here is the Larger SFV OG Kush. She is producing a TON of bud sites.

A close up on early bud formation, I'll be taking her between 9 and 10 weeks, prob. at the 70 day mark as I was told was her sweet spot:

Here is the OutKast's Blue Berry Sativa. One of the most VIGOROUES DENSE growing pants. She responds great to Super Cropping as does the OG. When topped she branches out super tightly. Not much stretch at all, def. not the typical sativa stretch like the SFV. She Def. is one of the prettier plants in my garden, leaves always fully "erect" and never droppy. She def. has a blueberry aroma, very astringent!

Here is a close up of early bud formation. I'll Prob. flower her out for 9 weeks, possibly ten depending how she looks. Super branchy and super dense tight growth. I LOVE the way she grows!

There's more...

Here are shots of the various SFV OG Kushes in the double stacked 2L bottles. I am really pleased how they stretched although i was expecting more. The black electrical tape on the bamboo represents the height before the stretch. I'm not quite sure what to expect them to yield. Given the container size and the amount of tops, im hoping for around 21g a plant. I was originally shooting for 16 grams, but i think i may over shoot that. If you have an opinion, i'd love to hear it!

Bud sites are literally ALL OVER, with TIGHT internode spacing!

For the most part, the entire plants were super-cropped, some sections more than others, but everything down to each growing shoot was pinched and allowed to recover before flowering. The OG responded very well to it. Going forth, i def. think it benefits the plant as for increased nutrient uptake. I noticed growth was a lot more vigorous as well as the plant being a lot less viney with its beefy structural support. Anyways, here is a great example of a plant on steroids from super cropping:

That's not all folks....

Now lets take a look at the mother/veg. cabinet:

1 OutKast's BlueBerry and
1 LVPK were removed from the veg cab, and placed into flower. Today will be Day 1 flowering for these two plants. Both Plants should be ready around 8 weeks, which would be directly in correlation to the harvest date of everything else previously in flower.
2012-01-06_21-59-32_725.jpg

One of the Outkast's Blueberry plants. This one stays in the veg. room for now. the flower cab is packed tight enough at the canopy, I am fortunate to have included the side lighting for this exact reason!

SFV OG Kush:
2012-01-06_22-05-33_741.jpg

Not sure why my SFV Mother is being such a BITCH to me right now. she was growing fine and then she showed signs of overwatering. I allowed the soil to dry out and judging by the photo a little too much. I have since watered everything in these imaginary pictures. Hoping she will bounce back fine as you can see she has nice clones to provide! I'd like to add some hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to the watering to boost the oxygen the roots are getting to prevent rot and keep her happy, but im all out at the moment!

Many of you have asked about the Cherry Pie, here they are. Slow vegers, but super delicious potent smell, very exotic! and very tight growth! her leaves are very unique!

This one has been LSTed to encourage more lateral growing shoots so that i can take clones of her. Slowest of all my plants, but she is well worth the wait!

Here are my two Girl Scout Cookie S1s. they look slightly different in phenotypes. one looks slightly more indica at the moment and the other seems to have slightly deformed looking leaves as well as finger "clawing". pH was between 7-8, so i am thinking i need to bring it down.

To conclude tonight's update...

Here are some pictures of my personal strain, DayGlo. I have been experimenting with supercropping early on in the seedling/veg. stage. I've noticed no signs of stress, but i stand corrected from an earlier statement I made above, Internode spacing does NOT get tighter than this!!! Fork for size reference. Keep in mind, this is a sativa we are talking...with super slender leaves in flower. internode spacing is a round 1/4 of an inch:sun She smells JUST like your grandmother's old suitcase that has been unopened in the attic for the last 50 years...you know the smell?

hello TWIN:sun
umm ya it seems that way some times, got mine going so i'll get some pics in here as soon as it/they are big enough, that problem i was having seems to have hung on a bit longer then i had thought so it slowed everything down a bit....i think were about out of trouble so things should start looking better real soon around my place...

I seem to have increasing fungus knat populations in both cabinets. its been around for a couple weeks now, but i didn't think anything of it as there were only 2 or 3. Now they seem to be more annoying. I dont think they are causing any harm to the plants....yet....but i'd like to get rid of them without chemical nutes or harming my plants in flower (17 days). I figured i'd make a suger bleach solution with a bottle that allows them in but not out as well as hang a few strips. Is there anything more conclusive? I hear people mention adding nemotodes...but where the heck do you buy that and how the heck do i do that? All advice welcome.

Also, my OG mother plant seems to have slightly yellowing leaves. Hard to believe there is a deficiency b/c the soil should still be well amended. I'm thinking i need to boost the nitrogen and prob. an epsom salt watering as well. She seems to be staying in this state of either droopy leaves from over watering or droopy leaves from under watering. Having a tough time finding her equilibrium. She is the only one, out of the entire bunch giving me issues. Feel free to comment.

hello TWIN:sun
i get those gnats with every growand have always hated them, but something i learned from my soil problems is that gnats dont like bad soil so this morning when i was in there checking things out i seen about 6 so i know my soil problem has been fixed.....ahh sorry that dont help you my friend but for the first time im super glad to see the GNATS...

i use GNATROL to control them fuckers it takes about ten days but once it takes those little shits are gone for good, well gone for that grow any ways....

if your OG is going yellow out of the blue then ya my first fix would be to add a bit of NITRO.....
good luck

Im doing a lousy job keeping up with this thread, but i assure you all i have been taking a TON of pictures and will update when i have more time. today is day 43 of Flower.

Jaws: Looks a lot like one of my cookie s1s. def. see cherry pie resemblence as well. It looks great though. My GSC s1 though doesn't have the red veins. Should have the cut on its way though shortly, along with a few other surprises.
I didn't realize how many gnats where in there. JEEZUS they multiply so fast. I've Azamatted ( i think that was the product) my veg cab. and also put up fly paper to catch the adults. and the flower chamber i h2o2ed the soil to kill off the larvae. I also hanged fly paper in there as well....thought i'd catch 30 tops.....looks like i caught 300 lol. Things are pretty declining at this point with them. They love my good soil=P
