BigCube's grow show and tell.

Time to put all my stuff in to one thread. First a bit of context, I grew for 10+ years almost 10 years ago. I always did dwc scrog in a small closet about the size of the tent I have now 3x3x6 vivosun.

So this here is actually my first grow in 10 years. First lots of things.
First time in a tent
First time with LED
First time in coco coir
First time with carbon filter

I started this white widow fem seed with the intent of making a mother out of it. Well I got quite a ways in to veg before I realised coco is not good to keep a mother in. So I decided to clone and flower her.

Anyways here we go!

3 weeks from sprout.

4 weeks topped and cloned the plant

5 weeks transplanted in to 3.5gal

6 weeks

7 weeks. This is when I decided to not keep it as a mother. And that I would be flowering it.

Weekly update. Week 6 of flower.

She is filling out nicely. The longest dong is over 18 inches! There are 4 or 5 that are at least a foot long. The biggest dong is about as thick as a can of red bull.

I dont think this led has any problems with penetration. So happy with this led, specially for the price.

OK, first off. oh. my. Gawd! And congrats - that's fcking incredible. Secondly - do u mind telling me what light it is u are using? You said it was an LED but it looks too bright in the pic to be an LED..? would love to know specifics - brand and output. your room / tent size looks to be the same as mine.

I'm in a 3x3x6 vivosun.
The led is actually a cheap ($120 canadian) Amazon light. I did my research and bought what I believed was the best one.

Its advertised as an x5 cob. They make an x6 aswell. They are 5 and 6 cob led fixtures. Unknown LEDs, but ad you can see, they are good lol. They advertise 1500w the actual draw is 250w.
The x6 draws 300w

Very cool. Hard to compare your grow with sog or ScrOG as mine is because my buds grow sideways...lol..

Mid week 6, dongs were falling over so I've wired them up. Yoyos come in Monday so the vinyl wire is just temporary.

my amnesias are a week or so behind yours but cant see my girls being close in two weeks time (or is that the pattern, :opps:wonder ?)

First time in a tent

Are you enjoying the change from 'cupboard' dwc set up?

I'm a real newbie and am using a very similar setup to your current set up, albeit slightly bigger tent, but its a comfortable space imo.
Am coming along for the ride

Yes I really like the tent, coco and the led.
I still might go back to dwc at some time. But maybe not. Coco is pretty good.

Next go round will be scrog to see how much I can get out of the system.
