Hey guys

Had to switch systems at the start of veg as the old system wasn’t cutting it, now using oxypot xl.
I’m roughly 5 weeks in and they are running a bit small due to the old system issues.
How do you think these are looking?, bit concerned about the light colour of the leaves.
Ph is coming in around 5.7, spider farmer sf1000 on around 75% roughly 30 inches above.
Using shogun samurai hydro hard water

Looks fine now now. I'd fill your net pots the rest of the way with pebbles. Normally you dont want any light to get to your water or your roots, both of which is happening now for you.

Also not familiar with that nutrient line so it's hard to tell if your getting a deffeciency, or what it reality is.

I have one that looks similar but I keep feeding it and it keeps growing. If you have actual damage on leafs can u get us a pic, looks like it's just growing fast now??

Did some studying for ya, but ill say ive never used those nutrients. Being you got 18 gallons with 2 plant at that size I would say your res changes should last a week or 2 at least. Seems like a good little kit honestly.

The website says for veg growth use a 50/50 mix of both parts. Is that what your doing? If so, it look like your underfeeding it a bit.

So to the questions.

What is your ppms, you will need to purchase a PPM meter, until then, add half the suppliers recommended dosage.

Can I see your roots?

My first thoughts is you just need to add some more feed.

Yeah just been following the dosage instructions half dose up until around week 3, 50/50 mix.
Got a ppm meter arriving tomorrow, had a ph meter from the start but being a super noob to this whole thing only found out about ppm through reading up and folks helping out.
System itself is decent, they do quite a few sizes and it’s a relatively cheap method.
Checked the roots just now for the first time in a few days and they are looking brown tinged in places which I’m guessing would be the start of some root rot possibly?, I’ve dosed up with silver bullet which is meant to be decent for stopping outbreaks before and during.
Advice is much appreciated
