Hi Everyone,
I watered my 3 week seedlings today for the first time after transplanting from solo to 1 gallon on Saturday, and got some really weird PH readings in the soil and runoff.
The soil (images attached) has been reading a constant PH of 7.0 since I transplanted, and same reading in the bag. Always 7.0. I watered with only distilled water PH’d at 6.5 before watering, no added nutrients or supps.
Right after I watered, I measured the runoff and it came back at 5.5, and the soil PH measuring device was showing ranges from 5 to 7 too across the medium. I don’t see how this is possible!
I’m using these vivosun grow pots if that matters, and I regularly am testing soil PH. Appreciate any insights or guesses on what’s happening here.
Thank you,
Zasin
