What's going on everyone. I'm a first time grower new to the site. Wondering if I could get some advice. I measured my runoff and got an e.c. of 5.0 my ppm was 3800 and ph 6.4. I have no clue what's going on. Here's all my variables 1. Outdoor grow
Ro water
white widow fem seed ilgm
It's fem photo
Plant is 8 weeks from germination
soil is 50% happy frog 20%coco 10%ocean 10%hydroton
Black 7gal fabric pots
Ph and tds of source water is 0
I'm feeding with ff trio plus calmg recharge i feed half of recommended dosage. Ph at 6.3ish and ppm around 800 at this stage.
Temps in the day have been in the 90's and upper 70's at night.

Now I'm getting black tips on the leaves. I also had yellowing of the bottom fan leaves.
Thanks for the help peace.

Feed a full cal mag dose. Magnesium deficiency at least.

Give straight water when needed with only cal mag. Check the runoff as you go along. Get to about 800 consider feeding again. You’ve got a strange mixture for medium.

Get those temps down. 90 is past the damage point for Marijuana. try and keep it below 80 degrees and 60% or lower humidity.
Your leaves are cooked. Reduce temps.

Your soil mix is overly complicated. By mixing your own you run the risk of un-balanced nutes.
If you want to grow in soil, then you do not feed other products. Soil should be organic, not added to. We use Roots Organic LUSH because it already has 95% of everything it needs.
When you feed a plant in soil, you are really overfeeding it. The soil IS the food.

Thanks I have been flushing the last 2 feeds with 6.7 pH RO water. It brought the E.C. down to 3.5. The temps are harder to control I have been keeping them in the shade for blazing part of the day.

Outside. Don't forget to water extra during hot days. The plant needs it to help keep cool thru transpiration.

Going through the same thing pal, first time farmer myself. I gave them their first dose of cal mag ever two days ago. Tested run off for first time ever as well and got 5.95 on one 6.18 on another and 6.24 on the third. It’s been the exact same temperature here past couple of weeks. But, I feel like they needed cal mag before all this heat, I just didn’t know exactly what they needed. I will probably try and give them one dose of 3-5mg (cal mag) once a week up until two weeks before harvest and Hope for the best… I hope everything works out for you. You’re not alone.
