I wanted to let you know that the blackberry strain I have is very sensitive to the actually spectrum of light. I had mine under a 400w hps 24 hrs of light and she started flowering. I set up my fluorescent lights (blue spectrum) and kept her at 24 hrs and she finally started vegging. keep her under blue lights for veg if you are still having trouble. @1diesel1

I just sexed 4 out of 5 seedlings to be females yesterday! Gotta shift some girls around and make room for the cloner! It's time to see what these mothers are going to give me! guymandude. Looks like some nice indica bud you got outta yours. I'll post some pics if I can get a chance.:smoking:

It took throwing the 5th one in the flower room for a couple days, but all 5 of my Blackberry Kush are females! They're showing noticeable variation to the foliage, but not too far off of one another in appearance. I DID in fact end up with a couple looking far more sativa than they had started out looking. I'll dump a picture of the five of them in a bit...:borg:

Clockwise from the 5 o'clock position, Blackberry Kush #1-#5, Gage Green Genetics.

Now a single shot of all 5 in numerical order. This will help you's to see the slight variations in foliage. :p

anyone have any experience with BBK mothers flowering in veg? And BBK seeding in late flower? I'm at a complete loss here. 2 years in a row. anyone that has experienced this talk to me.View attachment 634770 Had to cut early, bitch seeded on me.

No experience other then it's one of my favorite strains. Good luck my friend

Well. Out of all five sisters that I had, I kept #2. Number 5 ended up turning a beautiful purple, much like guymandude's last couple photo's a few posts back. Had all the nice berry smell I could ask for with all the look. About 7 weeks into flower, DICKS! F'er herm'd on me! Nevertheless, the bud is nice and there's not a large amount of seeds to be found in it. Barely any. The #2 pheno that I kept is more of a green, bulbous, and stable sister. She finished with all the berry funk and yield I could desire, along with good strength. Not sure how much longer I'll keep this strain though. When I say 'more stable' I don't mean completely. I'm gonna do another run on #2 and see. Time will tell.

My exp with BBK tells me none in this thread look like BBK except maybe one. I used the real BBK with White 88' G13 Haze Hashplant from Hazeman and chose the BBK line and its still super indica in apperance and effect.

That's how my seedlings looked at first then some showed sativa signs and some showed indica

Mothers always in veg, 24/7 light with all 4 other mothers. No dark for my mothers. I'm confused to. 2 other strains in flower haven't seeded. All strains are in the same environment I'm very anal about my grow, I treat it like a clean room. All are clones that I've been cloning for 2 years now been through 2 mothers the last bitch did the same thing last year about the same time.View attachment 634774
