Hello Everyone!
Diaries entry for my photo run of Blackberry Moonrocks from Blimburn seeds.https://blimburnseeds.com/blackberry-moonrocks-auto/
Run will be Organic soil with Organic nutrients.
Plan is 6 launched in 5 gallon fabric pots amended with information from the nutrition company of choice.
https://drearth.com/wp-content/uploads/Feeding-Schedule.pdf
There will be no deviations from the nutrition and growing plan this run. If I have problems I am desperate to blame someone other than me.
There will be a 3 week or so prep as I still have to finish and dry the weed I am growing now.
Also there will be a science comparo going on with light schedules. I rediscovered a thread due to a post update and am intrigued by the science.
Vivosun 4x4 ACI Thermo and Cloudforge and 700 watts led. 6 inch semirigid duct exiting the tent and the grow room.
From previous grows I have above average environmental control from 85 to 67 degrees and from 80% to 40% RH
Not perfect as 3 days of rain can drive humidity up more than I like but still less than 50% during lights out. With lights on no problem.
Will update often.

Update
With the final 2 plants in the 4x4 close I have started the process of getting ready.
I have ordered a new RO filter set as after 3 grows and an all day left the fuckin water on event I have exceeded the membranes capacity and the ppm is over 240 now.
Have also ordered nemetodes for this grow. As 2 of 3 successful grows started with gnants even the last winter run I am not wasting time and stunting plants. The pots will be filled to specs for the run installed in the tent for a 10 day run before seedlings are installed. I am treating with nemetodes during this time. Enviroment will be high temp (82) and low humidity with airflow. I would like to keep the top damp for the 10 day treatment and this stresses the plant out a bit.
My one concern is that I will have an active growing biome started with conversion taking place. I normally do a bottom soak of a liter of water to have a large humidity pool in the bottom. This time it will be an end of water cycle pot with hand watering in the seedling stage. I was worried that this will cause a " hot mix " for a seedling but after following a few living soil growers here I do not think I have to worry about this. Most up pot from trays into huge containers that are already growing balanced biomes.

Today will be cleaning and unpotting root balls so I can clean and store the 3 gallon pots. I now have 10 each 3 and 5 gallon and most have full sets of lst holes in the pots. Going to ace hardware for another garbage can for keeping the soil for recycling.
Also stopping by the 2 local Goodwill stores and putting in a call me on wardrobes and such that are at least 48 inches wide for a future drying cabinet.
A lot of my IPM is 2 years old now so need to look up expiration dates on jacks, neem, defender and the fruit fly traps.

Organization is the key to success!!! Great game plan Jim!!!
I did hear on our boards of someone using their car parked in the garage to dry their last batch ๐Ÿ˜‰

I use my car to power my whole grow when the power goes out.

12 tap from car to 3000 watt inverter. I have enough battery backup for about 10 hours so if it happens at night I can just isolate the grow room and plug in the inverter on batteries.
So I can actually grow pot with my car.
๐Ÿ˜Ž

It's also less than a generator.
With 2 batteries and the wires switches and such I got less than 400 bucks in it.

Plus I had/get to buy a crimper for 4 gauge wire to make the run from the house to the car.

Update.
With last plants pulled in the 4x4 the 31x31 is stuffed full of marijuanas.
Have received bugs and new filter set. Will be cleaning and collecting stuff today.
Local hydro shop sold me a few bags of gnants and I am really hoping in the last 16 weeks since I bought them they got a new pallet in. No matter still going to treat and run pots and tent at high transperation and temp for a week before seed starting.
House settings back to 40% setting and dehueys set at 55% so mostly off now. Unless we get rain the house never goes over 45%.
Have some environmental controlled boxes will get a good cleaning.
In addition. During this last run I had to pull the cloudforge apart to clean it as it shut down. It had prolly a 12 oz jar of slime. Once again under engineered pos is not sealed for light. As I do not use the site glass because again stupid shit it's in the opposite side of the fill cover I am going to magic marker that sight class and make a cover to seal to light out.
Tomorrow will be 50 and that is good enough to depot on the porch instead of getting dirt all over the basement floor.
I was going to get another 32 gallon garbage can but for the same price I can get 108 gallons of totes so maf wins.

Day 1 cleaning got my soil recycled and everything out of the room. Found 2 unused 5 gallon fabric pots so I only had to wash 4 pots. I chose the ones from the first fritter run as the photo run has mass air pruned roots in the bottom and a few minutes later I was like these are 5 for 17 bucks and this is bullshit.
I have 4 smaller totes I am going to use in the tent as support for the wood floor. This will free up 4 buckets to boost plants and with these buckets I can boost the plants in the room either 7 or 13 inches up on buckets.
At the end of this grow when I was boosting plants up on shit I relearned that boosting plants up and adding the humidity with the cloudforge from the bottom gives me a much better humidity control and much less water use. Fogging from above a lot of the water winds up out the duct draw.
So pots cleaned and dried stretched over a 5 gallon bucket. All 5 gallon buckets cleaned.
2 47 gallon totes and 3 17 gallon totes filled with 1 time use fox farms and perlite.
Floor picked up and all surfaces above the floor cleaned up.
Today is cleaning inside the tent and I have washed my fabric towels and used no softener so they will not leave a residue.
Wash down and sweeping the floor and cleaning up the enviroment control boxes.
I also have to get my wifi to recognize my 2.4 g controller and the humidifier for the 31x31 but I got time as that tent remains empty until the plant flower schedule starts.
Hope to have pots with bugs in the tent tomorrow when I wake up.

Water pump for drain stripped. Part ordered be here tomorrow by 7 pm.
Must be a high failure rate part you take the front lower plate off and yer looking at it.

Back to tent.
Or I can prep dinner
Sigh....,.......

Funny you mention dishwasher, I'm heading out tomorrow to find a new one. My son is staying at my Mom's and the control panel kept fogging up then stopping. Took it apart dried it out put it back together with new gaskets and it worked, briefly. So I priced out a replacement board and it's half the cost of a new dishwasher, so the whole thing gets replaced. ๐Ÿ˜’

Amazon had the part in Wilmington Ohio 30 miles away.
I do not mind washing dishes by hand. When I was wrenching I did it to keep my hands clean and slow drying them out in the winter.

Hate dishwashers. Just me and the wife. I clean while I cook, something the wife fails to do. So she always has a stack of stuff in the sink, just from preparing dinner, then procrastinate on washing them after she eats.

I do it my way...cause I know I'm smoking a joint after I eat. So I'm definitely not going to wash dishes. ๐Ÿคฃ

Update
Cleaned tent and controls. Reapplied defender. Replaced sticky in soffit ( zero bugs)
Installed 5 gallon fabric pots with 60-40 OF and HF with MG perlite.
Tonight at lights out will install nemetode army to proactively clean up gnants.
Panel 100% lux in pot 25k.
Light is at top without changing to highest position which is on hooks and does not use the ropes.
In addition another grower was explaining the difference between high power and lower power panels at distances and the penetration of the light.
I know the math worked out but it is good to see confirmation from a physical test.
400 watt panel at 403 watts was 45000 lux at 20 inches. At 12 inches lower lux was 26000.
400 watt panel at 50% drawing 207 watts was 45000 lux at 8 inches. Down 20 inches lux read 21000 lux.
This does not matter until you have hight differences in the plant. Then there is a benefit to running higher light energy farther away as long as you can control the heat.
Lung room 63 degrees. 40% rh
Tent no heat or humidity support just light
81 degrees. 42% rh.
Drying tent 63 degrees 62% RH.

Nemetodes installed and sticky traps in all pots.
All IPM refreshed and pots are in 82 degrees at ambient humidity which is currently around 40%
18-6 and last few days will trend down panel to seedling settings and lower sensor assembly.
Not much but freshening up top few inches to support the nemetode army.
No signs in 7 days I sprout beans.

Also a change.
I am going to pop 5 blackberry moonrocks but will also pop the freebee from Blimburn
https://blimburnseeds.com/gelato-x-girl-scout-cookies/

I thought I ordered an auto to go with the amnesia haze auto freebees.

Made some modifications to the tent and environmental controls. Decided to install the heater hose in the basement of the tent. Instead of running around the floor of the tent getting in the way I have it under the drop floor and sticking up at the same position the cooler dryer lung room air comes from. This is directly across from the soffit fixture for the duct fan.
This allows a better mix of the air and allowed me to do a better job of sealing the back wall to floor transition as there is no longer a hose coming out of it.
I have also decided that before the smaller tent gets a plant I am going to move the tent against the rear wall of the room and cut another hole in the wall and run the tent exhaust out of the lung room and hang the carbon filter outside. This will allow better stabilization of the lung room.
I also am putting the transfer fan that will no longer shut off on the ACi app with an off N on switch that can be turned on from the app.
The ACi hose for the cloudforge was slimed up bad and I am going to see how much that hose is. It took 25 gallons of water and 2 hours to get the damn thing clean and the whole box was 100 bucks.
I'm thinking 30 bucks for a hose would be fair to not clean it.
Tent is ready. 80 degrees at 50% and can get to 80 in 5 minutes.
RO filter being a bitch replacement leaked. Poor replacement and servicing design would not buy this one again.
Of course my cheapness will have a say in that also.

In addition the single gelato x / girls scout cookies auto actually became 2 photo periods in the tube

Sprouting 4 blackberry moonrocks and 2 gelato cookies

Update
Balanced pot placement and adjusted lights to 51% at tallest position. All pots in center at 7800 lux
Top 3 inches removed and Home Grown at cannabis feed rate mixed in and soil reinstalled. Pots watered with one liter and tent set at 65% humidity.
With no heat support this gives me 74 in the tent. The thermoforge is good for 10 degrees.
One sweep fan above lights
One sweep fan in middle of tent
All light mounted fans on 10 speed as they are 4 foot 8 inches from pots.

I had to use water sealant on my RO filter and this will render it non repairable. Good as new should last 2 runs
48 bucks meh.

Oh happy days๐Ÿ’ƒ I've been wanting to grow this strain but I've not seen someone do it yet. Your grow style is way different from mine I'm a very simple low key. But I love visuals before I test a new strain. Imma gonna be watching you๐Ÿ‘€
I grew Blackberry moonrocks....one of my first grows....was very happy with quality if weed....my buds weren't very full nor the plants very big. But I am sure it was my inexperience....I still have seeds, will have to attempt to grow it again.
