If I put the mainline plants under more then 16k which is a pitiful amount of energy I roast the tips and one has swirling leaves and a self cull for 1/4 of a leaf.

None of the plants are moving water I am just getting a slow dry on the pots. Ni water in 5 days and pots way heavy for watering.
Now I have to figure out what I did.
I do not think it is nutrition as the widows look awesome

and I am following the same plan.
These pots were set up 10 days early with nemetodes and I had problems with germination. The pots dried way back and on install all the water I gave the plants got sucked away and I just caught that and saved the 2 BBMR plants.

When I bobbed the mainline back I think I should have gone back in water amounts and started watering the plant instead of the pot. It was a 2 inch stem with a 8 inch twig with 10 leaves. I should not have been soaking the pot at this point as there was no growth to use up the water.
Pretty sure I got bad wet feet. When you pick up the pot and wiggle it back and forth you can feel the center of gravity is very low in the pot.

So I have 2 options from looking at diaries with this problem.
1 dry it back and get the pot light and do a slow full watering.
2 do a top water of 500 ml to get the soil on the first 6 inches watered but let the bottom of the pot continue to clear up. Continue with this until pot gets light.

If the pots were drying normal I would say they are 2 days from being light. Since they are not I donno and the GX is looking sad

You definitely hit the nail on the head regarding removing leaves and transpiration. Less stomata on the plant equals less evaporation. But you said "the plants are not moving water". And they never will. They are essentially a straw with a valve at the top and the bottom.

90% of nutrients and 100% of water is carried through the plant passively by a combination of vpd pulling from the top, and osmotic pressure pushing from the bottom. Phosphorus (and sometimes K) are the exception here because the plant has to "work" to get it.

I think they look good though, maybe a bit overfed? Fan leaves are an N sink so when you remove a lot the remaining ones get hit with all of it! I say keep chugging along and don't forget you are stressing them with the training and some ladies just don't like that!

Based on input and a bad experience of putting a fan on a pot with this issue I am going to stay the course and allow them to dry.
If they start to crash I will do a small top water as first

Update
Watered window #2 2 liters and removed internodes to low on plant to finish.
8 tops at even hight 34k everybody and down lowest is at 17.5k Any lower pulled.
About 20 stem tops starting up and that's about it for this 3 gallon grow. Wanted and expected to keep it smaller than last run.
Widow 1 has been a day behind and I like not having synchronized pots cause I can not do this stuff for 3 hours straight like that damn auto run.
ILGM White Widow 40 days above ground.

I am not putting the above ground status of the mainlines.
Too discouraging.

I soak plant....5 gallon fabric pot. I start with 1/2gallon water/nute mixture....every 3rd day. Bump it up to 1 gallon water/nutes every 3 days....mid to late flower the middle day if plant is droopy i will give it a taste of water. I was taught that plant needs that dry cycle....

I am thinking that I should have greatly reduced water after the bob. I was aware of the stall after topping and in my journal I never watered day of or just before a top to avoid this but my mistake was clear in the journal. Water after bob was 2 liters and they went 5 days and should have gone longer as I compounded the issue.
So far not fatal and not in flower so just cost me some more time.

Watered GCGSC with 1.2 liters ro water.
Watered BBMR with 1 liter water.
I added the water very slowly. After 30 minutes the BBMR plant did well as the whole bottom of the plant got slightly damp.
The GX got wet the entire outer of the pot slightly damp. I had a little dampness in the middle of the bottom.
The BBMR with sensor is looking ready for 12/12

All tops have 2 levels for both BBMR and GX plants. The other 2 are very tiny yet.
Widows being widows kicking ass.

Watered widow #1 with 1.7 liters and got damp bottom. Did this very slow as I also configured the 48x48 into flower power tent.
Widows at 33k to 28k
Mainline at 17k to 15.5k
79 degrees and 1.1 is target

Update.
Ok new strategy for tent worked well. After putting the plants in the same tent I started the in room dehumidifier.
This kept me at 1.0 VPD as the humidity load was greatly increased with the widows.
Transition night to day.
AC Infinity">

And from the look everybody loves it. The mainlines have shook off the overwater. The Widows are looking for more light but I got nothing left in my legs to move them around and I still have to watch the splash on the mainlines.

Update thoughts
With the mainline plants taking off I am going to post another error in my grow for the mainlines.
After the bob from this.

To this

Not only should I have slowed the roll on the water but the nutrition needs were also greatly reduced. I should have held off on the next Top Dress for a week or maybe even 2 weeks. I am sure with the magic fairy dust the conversion after bob was way over the needs for a while.
Looking back I think I watered ok but I should have been more patient waiting on the pot to clear before watering the second time.
The good thing is that with all the drama I did not top dress the last 2 mainlines so will be prolly doing that next watering. This will lengthen top dress from 2 weeks to 23 days.
Lessons learned.
They look so much better.

Watering by weight of the pot never lies. This type of growing is what brought me into the training side of what I do with floaters.
Instead of manipulating the plants for about 8 colas I can now spread a plant out and make many more colas.
Im real curious to see how this turns out for ya.

According to what I read and have seen in journals breaking the dominance through mainlining will give me 8 main tops. No prioritization of hormones or nutrients. And the pipes with knuckles promises lots of flow. Tent is down to .04 vdp wave and they are starting to take more light. Pushed them over 22k lux for the 3rd time. Each previous times I got negative presentation with rolling leafs and curling up.
Widows up to 39k lux.
4 hour time check at 10 am will see if they stay.

Update
Noon check had me some dry top fans on the widows.
I have the 150 watt panels with the fans and after moving them around some I guess they were pointing down at the place I train my internodal fans where they cover stems and gather light.
Backed off fans in lights to low speed.
Just a little parched look to them. Maybe 4 fans per plant.
Doh!
I often wonder how bad Homer Simpson would grow weed.

Watered last Widow 2 liters to water.
Adjusted some tops.
Raised 400 watt panel over mainlines to 60% 26k all tops.
This now matches the % on the Widows lights although with boosting widows at 46k tops.
Nice green push from the mainlines.
Nice even grow from widows.

Love the way the internodes filling in the stems on the widows.
