Just scored 100ft of blaze (tm) diode led (3000k) strip lights (free I might add) listed at 2.88w/ft & 250 lumens a foot. Retails at $1000 belive it or not. As an electrician i have installed probably 1000ft on the jobsite so far & this is the extra that can't be returned. Had the thought of making a fixture out of it.

Anyone ever heard of them or think it's worth it? Or else there just going to be used as under cabinet lighting.

Just looking your lengths and watts per foot= 2.88x33’= about 90 watts per power supply and then 3 groups for a total of 270 watts. You probably can make a fixture out of the 100 feet, but you’d need the 24 volt power supplies and not so sure what you’d end up with, overall (would need some heat sink also I’m thinking). Good luck if you do it.

You can always wire them in series and parallels

250lm/2.88w puts you at 86lm/w

We run mostly 160+lm/w

Also those strips have current regulating resistors. That's aditional waste of power.
Yeah they will probably give better returns in the kitchen . iv been eyeballing some qb boards & had thought i may have gotten lucky with some extra lighting.

Going to be a first timer in a 4x4 in the near future and have been lingering around soaking up some Knowledge. Just been debating on doing a (Vero 29 gen 7) vs qb build (hlg-600 to be exact)
