It gets pretty dry around here this time of year! I pumped 7000 gallons of water into the pond overnight! Our two and four legged fellow mortals can use all the help they can get! And the view of the Bonsai Play pen from on the way out! Will post a few plant pics when they light up!

Holy crispy Chuck looks like you’re having a drought or is it normally this dry in Aug? I was watching a podcast a few years back where someone said he had 2 sources of water for his outdoor grow. One was well water and the other was a little pond like yours long story short the pond was slimy green it grew huge bud and the one that was watered with well water seemed like it was growing but not like the pond water plants were. I so thought about that as soon as I saw your pond from file # slimey is best source of water ha ha you’re going to need help this fall my friend

Looks very much like the area i live in. My dogs would be covered in foxtails if i let them off leash on our forest walks. Spring not bad but summer ugh i spend a hr. brushing them off.

Had never heard of foxtails until Cbrian said his dog had one embedded in her whoo haa and paw. She had to go to the vet. I thought how is a fox's tail in a dog's nether region? So, off to research 8 went. Can't imagine dealing with those with my animals.

My grandpa raised and trained Brittany’s! Those things can get nasty! lol!!! Coolest thing ever though to watch them point frozen in time until you tell them to flush it! I miss my upland bird hunting days.
