My snowshoes came today, they're nice! I'm almost looking forward to our first blizzard! Been threatening to buy them for 3 years!

Couple of times I had to make it no more than 100 ft to the edge of the woods where I dump the ash bucket from the wood stove, I was literally stuck up to my ass in a snow drift, in a blizzard and it's getting dark! 😟

I wanted the old school wood ones but I found out they're mostly just for ornaments in theme restaurants 🤷🏻

You mean you don’t have one of those newfangled, self-propelled, snowblower’s? Come on beach! Is it gonna kill you to open the wallet A little! You can’t take it with you!😁🍻

Yes i got those freakin turkeys also. They sit on my fence and torment my dogs. They want my bird feeder seed on the ground. Anyhow weather forcast is for rain on thurs and friday. Thank goodness i only have these 4 to drag under cover. I'm seriously thinking of doing only 2 next season if i keep the tent rocking an rolling all winter to early spring. I love growing it but i'm getting wore out by all the other chores it takes to run a large yard and home by yourself. No i don't want gardeners, don't wanna pay nor show them my plants.

They don’t give my dogs a second look! And the dogs don’t give them a second look! There’s some kind of truce going on there! They walk through, and the dogs get up and move out of their way! L O L! Or they would probably walk right over them!

Just them! They are constantly communicating with each other! And the one keeping an eye out, was probably mom! And there were a few other birds, in the background singing! Successive generations, stick around here! I’m thinking these Pults have gotten used to dogs. So when they grow up to be moms, they aren’t as wary about them and so the cycle continues! None of my dogs have messed with turkeys! They have been pretty savvy in that regard!

And that’s where they are going to find you, beach! Frozen solid with your snow shoes, tangled up! An honest mortician will give your next of Kin a discount! Since you will be arriving, already frozen! 😂✌️

Friend of mine taught special Olympics for years and got the 'kids' to try them and they got good enough to compete at state games!
She however decided to give it up after a couple of tries and just direct them from the safety and security of her car. LOL

These are so cool! Yet another thing I never imagined that I would ever need or use in my life

I want to go out and run around on the lawn with them now! But the white van from the funny farm would show up

Theres a lake 150 yards through the woods in front of me, I told myself I'd just use them to reach the dump piles, but now that I'm looking at them I know I'm going to be out on that lake

Hell, yes! Now you’re mobile! I would go out and practice with them on the grass or weeds just to get the foot placement down! Learn the gait! Probably have to walk like you have a corn cob up Your ass! L O L! Yeah, that’s a long way from Santa Barbara!
