Total haul, 4 guys, three days of fishing: 423 lbs of fillets! Cost $150 just in baggage fees! Processing was about $400 each! The weather was great, for a week before we got there they couldn’t get on the “outside”, too much wind. Our three days it was flat calm, running 25 mph in the ocean! In a couple days I’m going to check on my “volunteer” plants up in the mountains.

Nice! I was thinking about taking a trip up there with the Lady. Now I am "hooked" pun intended. Next year fer sure. 😂

I use a guide service called ReelClass charters. Book early, they fill up quickly. There are about a dozen different guides/lodges in Sitka. There’s also good fishing and guides in Yakutat. My wife went a few years ago she had a great time and caught some nice fish.
