I so far haven't used my bloom khaos because I wasn't sure how to use it. I just watched a YouTube video about it and seems as though it is basically a catalyst for absorbing calcium. It wouldn't hurt to start adding that by the teaspoon to my nutrient regimen even while flowering , right? @Power OG

Correct, i use it 3 to 1 herculean to khaos, so for every 3 tbsp of herculean put 1 tbsp of chaos, and also id be using it as a foliar to. If you dnt use at 3 to 1 herculean you could get deficiencies.

Oh boy where to start.
I've recently switched to the NFG line. Using Gia Mania, Medusa's Magic, Zeus Juice, HH, Demeter's Destiny, Aphrodites Extraction and Bloom Khaos. I have been following their suggested doses per gallon in each respective stage of growth. I've run the nutes through only 4 plants so far using Roots Organic Soil in 2.5 gallon pots under 400w HPS for flower and MH for veg. I'm trying to give as much info as I can because I'm headed somewhere with this and it ain't good. All 4 plants have looked amazing throughout the veg process, just happy pretty girls hanging out in the basement. It is right around 40 days into flower, about half way for me as I flower for about 80 days, that something goes wrong and my girls get irritated and sick. it has happened to all 4 plants so far.

Now, right around day 30 of flower I switch from the "early flower"dose recommendation from NFG to the "mid flower" dose recommendation from NFG. the only major difference is I begin adding the Bloom Khaos to the water directly at 1 Tablespoon per gallon and stop with the foliar spray. I also have been increasing the HH from 2 Tablespoons to 4-5 or 6 Tablespoons per gallon at that time. Once the issue started i ran some water through the soil with only 4 Tablespoons of HH to try and stop the problem and it seems to have worked, I think at least.

I switched from 1 Tablespoon of Khaos to 1 then 2 teaspoons of Khaos to see if that would help but it hasn't. I do not know if Bloom Khaos is the issue here or not. I have reach the limit of my knowledge with the problem and do not know what I need to add and/or subtract to the soil. I ph everything to 6.2-6.5 or so says the meter.

I really want to use this line because I've heard great things and even with the problem my leaves are having some of the buds look amazing and to the touch them seem i guess hardy or dense and very sticky. Here is a pic of the issue as it just is beginning on this current one. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Why does this happen

Thanks.

@FarmingGR Ok so just because the chart says so the plant might not be that heavy of a eater for 1, id cut your feed down just a little under the recommended, also i always use Demeters a little heavy, second the Bloom khaos is your probably your culprit so id cut it down to 1tbs but only after a HH flush. The chart is just round about but to dial in you have to know your plant, i have hogs and anorexia bitchs i have to feed according, take cookies and Yeti for instance if i feed the cookies like i feed the yeti she will get frost but never give any wieght, and if i feed the Yeti like cookies she will starve to dealth. What kind of water are you using.

Tap water that comes out high 7's to 8. After all nutes are added it's at 5.8 or so and I bring it up to 6.2-6.5 I ph everything to 6.2-6.5. I'll definitely start dialing down. I might stop on the bloom altogether on this plant and switch to 1 teaspoon a gallon on another one and see what happens.

I'll have to check next time i water. What should it be?

Well this probably isn't good. The water going in was 6.3. The water coming out was a point less at 5.3. I'm sure that's an indication of something.

That is your main problem i would have to say. Now you need to check your ppm going in an coming out. My guess is you have a lot of salt buildup. I would feed at 6.8 to 7.0 your next feed and check your ppm runoff.

I think that's it right there. You can't make a feed chart that works with all plants, it has to be used as a guideline and taken with a grain of salt. It may work just fine for 6 or 7 out of 10 but, the other 3 or 4 are going to suffer from either too much feed or not enough. You have to be diligent and dial in what your plants want. My two cents, for what it's worth.

I don't have a meter but I imagine it's high. Maybe it's time to get one. I think that's one of the purposes of the NFG line. It puts a lot in the soil and the plant can access it as it needs it. I'll work on getting the ph up. In the mean time I trimmed back most of the damaged leaves, I couldn't stare at that anymore. I hope that wasn't the wrong thing to do.

I would do a large flush with the higher ph and low ppm. Ppm or ec meters are pretty cheap. $20.

I see more people fucking this nutrient line up than not...are there any good examples out there? I've literally thrown nugs in the trash that were grown with nectar...have yet to see one good example. Is there anyone out there not totally blowing it with this line?!

I agree with doing a flush but, I'd be running straight water, add pH adjustment if you have to but, I'd dump a pile of water through that girl to clear any salts build-up without any kind of feed, or even a flushing agent, imo. It kind of looks to me like she's overdosing, after a good flush maybe try cutting the feed way back and see how she responds.

Oh yeah, the leaf thing; I subscribe to the theory that you should never remove a leaf that isn't more than 50% damaged, I'm guessing that the leaves you removed would fall into that category so, I'd say it's probably just fine.

I would never flush with plain water Imo. Flushing with a weak feeding will remove a lot more salts than just plain water.

It just makes sense to me that if something is causing a problem you don't solve it by adding more, you probably have more experience with these kinds of problems than me though. The one time I had one lock up so tight she wouldn't drink I fixed it with a good flushing of straight water.

Not syaing i am right but fresh mild nutrients help dislodge salts and will help bring ph up without disrupting the buffer zone.
