Hi, new grower here. I’m trying to gather up all the essentials I’ll be needing to successfully grow. Right now I’m just focusing on the climate aspect, so the tent and shit. I’d like to show my Amazon wishlist and if anyone reading can confirm I’m on the right track and tell me what else I’m missing. Right off the bat the tent I’m looking at has a screen that monitors humidity levels, yet doesn’t control it. I don’t know if I would need a de-humidifier or a humidifier instead, or if not having any of these would work just fine. If anyone can link me their exact tent setup that would be dope.

Here’s link: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1Q2FJDF71H32Y?ref_=wl_share

Also how would I control the temperature inside the tent?? How tf do y’all do this?

what kind of pothead are ya? you sure that tent will be adequate size.. if your gonna start learning to be a grower you may want to go bigger.. instead of buying everything twice or more, if you have room than yep that’ll be fine than if you want to upgrade bigger than the first tent can become your veg/starter tent..
personally i hate amazon, why not just buy from the company that makes the product..
also you will need dehumidifier and humidifier maybe a heater or a/c unit, maybe a couple as drying plants need a controlled environment as well as growing plants than buying nutrients, growing medium, than getting mildew or pest or failing/killing plant..
etc etc..

The 3 by 3 is enough, I only mean to have one plant going at a time. Perhaps in the future once I level up I’ll consider a bigger tent. Another thing, would I just have to set up the tent once I get it and have it run with the lights on and everything to see if I’ll need a de-humidifier or a humidifier heater or cooler. My “lung room” is right now at a pretty cool 68 degrees. I first want to make sure I’m comfortable controlling the climate before I move on to soil, nutrients, seed sand all that other shit.

Look at Spiderfarmers 3x3 and G3000 or SE3000 lights. Vivosun has a bad rep for crap products, They had a rep here for a short time but took so much flak he disappeared.

78f is a good temp with lights on and however you get there is up to you. I add a finned oil filled heater in flower but just a 150 w heat lamp in veg. Our home night time temp drops to 68f and no more than 10 degree difference between lights on and lights off is recommended but its just a guide line I've been cooler at nights but it just adds color to them in flower.

I strive for 60%+ in veg adding a humidifier and 50% or lower in flower adding a dehumidifier.

I would ditch the idea of going with Vivosun and check out AC Infinity or Gorilla Grow Tent.

ACI is the more affordable route but very very high end tents, i have 3 and love them. Also check out their environmental controllers, pretty neat and saves you from a really big headache.

Do not go cheap on an LED, go mid range if you're just starting out then upgrade but do not go bottom line or you will have an issue i guarantee it.

STAY AWAY FROM MARS HYDRO!!! They have a very very high rate of fires!

Best of luck, this place is full of help whenever you need it.

Have you seen the latest test results? You would change your mind on vivosun. They're going for ac infinity. They forced ac infinity to ditch the Bluetooth controller's 😉 having had both the ac infinity is more accurate but they do the same thing. I have never had a mars hydro product but I have seen some shit😬

Ill always go to ac infinity for tents and environmentals unless someone better comes along, but ACI had their shit together first and have been a good compwny from the beginning.

For affordable lighting id start with ViparSpectra or Phlizon to be honest.
Seen to many bad experiences with Spider and Mars.
I didnt even know vivosun made lights.... whend that happen??

I would say everything you have there is fine. But. I would strongly advise to at least switch the fans to acinfinity. Spend the 5 bucks extra to get a model 69 pro. You will be able to control all of your environment from 1 controller. I would but at least 1 uis plug. To either control a humidifier or dehumidifier. Depending on where you live.
