looks like you lost 10+ days on the mainline training
very curious to see the yield difference from just topping after 3rd or 4th node

I know a guy that trains them around the pot in a circle sometimes.
He makes some nice bushes like that, look like they yield pretty good

Ok I am boared out of my mind and sick as a dog and can't sleep so just a quick update on my grow.
I was able to sort out the males so out of 7 regular beans I ended up with 3 females although I wanted more ladies, I couldn't possiably fit another plant in my room! So in all I have 9 ladies to work with and 6 different strains. The stretch is just about over but I have this skunkberry that is messing up my whole shit and is just a monster. All the ladies have little buds forming on top not really much to see this week but by next week it should be much different.
My first main line plant is coming out ok I think lol. I have 8 tops now and have no choice in going for 16 because I have no room in my flower room and have some serious thinking to do. At this point the way I figure it I have 6 to 7 weeks of flower left. If I top my mainline again next week then let recoupe for 2 weeks, veg for another 2 that is still 2 weeks shy of my other plants finishing so like I said i have some thinking to do.
Ok I am starting to ramble so let me lay down and try to get some sleep.

Well I'm sorry I am late for the party, better late then never. Bones your babies are looking great, you should throw some pics up of those green thumbs of yours. Your diary is tops, I keep starting them then get busy and by the time I get back to update I am usually done with flowering. So keep it up you have another spectator.

lmao! Yeah man I am gonna keep up with it. Thanks for the kind words. Guy's on this site seem to be real helpful to others and well in tuned to what they do. I am hoping after this grow I am able to score on some of the strains made by members of this site.

We are watching and liking your journal . keep it up . your plants look as healthy as they could be . especially when you take into consideration the fact that you travel 200 miles A DAY back and forth to work . total respect bones.

I have to honestly say that I am cruzzin this grow with minimum problems compared to previous one's. Thank you cannabis god's!
Tomorrow I have some work to do on the plants in my tent and my first main lined plant. Hopefully I will be able to give her the last topping for 16 cola's.
Every grow I always try something new and it's just been working for me. Hopefully next grow I can get my hands on some of the awesome strains this great site has to offer!

Well in all to be honest if this was my only project and starving for buds yeah it's a huge waist of time. She is in veg 9 weeks now been topped 4 times but keep in mind I have seperate growing rooms and every single grow I try a new way of training or just try something new just for the growing experience. Do I regret it? HELL NO. Would I do this again? Absolutely! I have a whole room of flowering ladies but I just love trying new shit! I think my next grow is gonna be hydro. Just for the experience. I may love it or hate it but another notch under my belt! I never starve for bud. EVER! I have not bought any bud in over 5 years lmao!!! Sometimes growing the same way get's boring. So I change that. Check out this pic just topped 2 days ago for 16 cola's. Once the new tops are growing strong, I will clean all the leaves up put up a trellis and veg her for 2 weeks then flip. Come check me out then!

I just got my hands on some really dank sativa dominant strains. probably gonna mainline 1 of them next! Gonna be a harvest party at my house. All you playa's are invited lmfao!!!

The point of mainlining isn't necessarily to increase yield, rather, to have 8-32 equal colas, zero-larf, dense nugs, top to bottom.
If you have an extended veg. time and need to fill it, it's an effective way to train. Also a better option in height-limited grows.

Hey everyone. I again am bored out of my mind and have not updated my journal so this is what is going on. First off I have been following a lot of dwc grows and after 20 years in soil, I have been preparing for my next grow which will be a 4 plant grow 2 dwc and 2 soil each having the following,
critical kush and thc bomb and I wanna do a side by side and see if hydro is all it claims to be so looking forward to it another 4 weeks away.
Ok here we go 5th week since flipping and my flower room is smelling fuckin awesome!!! Between kush berry and skunk berry, this room is heaven!!!
On the down side I was tying down my mainline for the final time and the very last shoot # 16 broke on me. Yo I was bugging. Just my luck so I threw a little duct tape on her and this was 2 days ago and she is a bit limp but not dead so we will see but come on the last shoot? It was hanging on a hair but she ain't dead yet! Check out the pick and let me know if you think she"ll make it.

Hello farmers..
Been real busy lately doing trial runs on my spare time working on a rdwc that I have never attempted but so far everything is working out well!
As for my current grow it is now week 6 since flipping and I'm gonna start hitting them with dry Kool bloom to ripen them. The room just smells awesome with the smell of berries, skunk, kush. Heaven!!!
My first attempt at mainlining well I think it's working out well. Should be a monster and gonna flip her in a week or so. I probably will make 1 to 2 more posts this grow just to complete it and that's it. I like this site and most of the people. Very informative and you guy's grow some unique strains. For everyone who checked me out, thanks for checking in! Been a nice ride!
