i def always focus on root development and tryin to learn more as i grow.
filling the table with hydroton would be more space efficient to me so the roots can blow out further and i have 4" more of heigth to work with by gettin rid of the 4" rockwool slab. as long as i cant find a negative reason to do this method then i mite make this conversion. issue would b i want to continue using my ring drip emitters but not sure all the roots will get fully watered with this feeding method. i dont like the concept of flood and drain with a recirculating rez. i prefer to waste my runoff and not contaminate my feed rez. so thats the issue i need to work thru
No rest for the wicked Boomer! :big_boss: Looks like you've been real busy since the beginning... I respect your hard work and super clean setup. Very inspiring! Before you know it, you'll have more clones than you know what to do with... And as for the nutrient mix, I think your plan to keep it simple is a great idea, and then you can experiment with one or two supplements to see how they affect growth. On a side note, I'm not sure how many waterings you do at lights on with the rockwool cuz it holds lots of water, almost too well... :thinking BTW, I'm diggin' the tomato cage connection to the buckets (gonna have to copy that idea if I ever grow trees ala Under Current).
p.s. I'm pretty sure your high end camera has a white meter setting... If you set it under the HPS using a white object, your shots when the lights are on will be much more color accurate. :cool
Damn boomer loving your canopy for sure! Nice come up on that new drip set up. I am sure will have great results with it. As I have said before. I really like your room It looks fantastic. How are you liking those fat rockwool cubes?
If you take pictures at night you don't have to have the white balance on. Just turn it back to auto, or daylight. You only need to turn on white balance when the lights are off.
As for those leafs left to right.
Leaf 1: I am thinking it is either Magnesium, or Zinc issue. Possibly both.
Leaf 2: I am thinking it is an Nitrogen issue
Leaf 3: I am thinking it is a Calcium issue.
leaf 1 is zinc def leaf 2 nit def too early alot of strains change color go yellow first then purp black blue etc leaf 3 too much potas?? not sure at all not all about #3 it get that sometimes when i added molasses before i switched to diff brand

the sour grape is trippy cuz ive seen it flower out before and the fan leafs get all kinds of crazy colors. but im dialing in my nutes and had to take the learning curve since this is my first indoor grow. but im sure ill get it down. thanks again for helpin
thanks brotha. try to make the room as legit as possible.
in regards to the nute diagnoisis i think u guys r in the right ballpark.
i went ahead pulled out both 70 gall nute rezs and emptied it then rinsed it down to get all the crap out and start fresh. i thru in RO water about 30galls each 70gall rez and added Final Phase for my flush tomorrow. im hopin this will clear up any issues and continue to push the yield.
i cant remember but the fan leafs (once colors changed) do not change bak to the normal green right? it stays damaged til it falls off?
i start week 5 of flower tomorrow and gonna be doin 1200ppm
funny thing is almost all of the flower period has been at 1100-1250ppm cuz i continued to over do all the nutes (same reason why im goin to try more basic nutes next round) considering how high the ppms were, the sour grape strain seemed to hold its own and not show any burn signs. now the issues is gettin the nute requirements for each stage down to keep the universal green color thru flower.
