Boss's light test. LEDvsHIDvs Maybe Bad boy.

The test will be.
A 205 watt Led (thank you Ledgirl).
A 400 watt HID. HPS all the way through.
Quantum is supposed to be sending me the 12 Bulb bad boy with bulbs to test. So there are an extra set of girls for that.

The strains will be 1 GDP and 1 MK per light.
I will do some seriuos training to get them wide and keep them short. Also I want them to be close to rootbound in 2 gallon pot's before I flip them. So expect a slighltly long veg.
They are all in a 50\50 mix of Fox Farm's ocean forest and the light warrior. After mixing them together I added about 25% more of large perlite.

The space in a 6Hx4Wx2D shelf witch I inclosed with very thick insulation board. And then cut the wall off the side of my veg room and attatched it there.
So they will share a completely sealed veg room.
They each have 2 x 2 for veg space. The flower space will be larger.

LB I just sent off a well worder email. Explaining exactly what my intentions where.
I got a very quik response from a very cool peep over there.
That was friday today I got the light. Pic's attatched.

Fred I am very impressed with the quality that seems to have gone into this unit.
It fires up so quite a smooth. And yes all the bulbs lite up.
That thing is really bright. You cant stair straight into it.
Honestly I was real happy to have gotten it and did not even pay attention to the packaging.

For some reason I think the Bad boy is going to outproduce the others. I think it will be really close with the HID and badboy. I think the LEDS will veg awesome and putter out in flower.

Anyone else got some predictions they wanna set down? It could be fun to see how many of us eat our words, lol :)

How many watts is that BadBoy and how is it going to fit in a 2x2 space?

Looking forward to your test and watching you train the plants. My guess is there is going to be some different growth structure based on the lights and you might end up training each differently.

I am super curious about how close the nodes form under the led vs the t5s.

What size pots are you going to flower in?
