Botanicare's Vitamino

Hey guys! Just curious if anyone has experience with vitamino. New product from botanicare, apprently it works really well...Some sort of enzyme-based microbial stimulator if I had to make an educated guess (like hygrozyme, but made from plant hydrolysate instead of biofilter tea) plus chelating acids and thiamine.

It's main purpose is to provide amino acids, but also has other trace vitamins n mineral...


Not like hygrozyme which is a enzyme product that removes old dead roots for the plant to prosper more..

I saw no noticeable difference at all. Went through 8 lil 250ml sample bottles from last years expo. Dude kept throwing the bottles at me as they were doing a product release on it that day. With Botanicare I feel their PBP with cal mag early on is all you need with a dash of some type of seaweed(liquid karma) product here n there. If you use the PBP at a high enough rate you don't need all these additives, imo

Imo PBP is a very complete single part nute that gives a good quality product by itself but using proper additives makes it that much better. Im using age old organics grow with botanicare pbp during bloom into week 4 of bloom this round. Im using everything at 1/⁴ strength all the eay thru with fresh water the last 20 days or so.

Also the best original diesel I've grown to date although yields blew was grown with PBP n cal mag that's it

As a stand alone i found yeilds were lower but quality was on point. With a few add ons im happy with it.

yep I've done botanicare full line I'm decently happy with it - I will say PBP is an awesome base to work with. Bloom is a little low in nitrogen, so I def use a kelp or cal nitrate product with it. I've seen pretty awesome yields and quality off of it with the right amendments, my best results were when I never went over 950 ppm and kept the recipe simple and consistent.

I'm not too impressed with vitamino really, and it's hella expensive.

My local shop tossed me a bottle that i've been hittin the gals once a week with. I use amended soil and have been reading about the benefits of amino acids in the food we eat everyday so I said why not, who couldn't use add'l trace minerals. I'll say I haven't saw any +/- effects.

I cannot confirm this and I'm still in testing, but the Bot rep tells me the vitamin C in the mix will help plants acclimate to the altitude here in CO. It usually takes a couple runs before the cut acclimates and the yield really maximizes, in my experience. Same for seeds bred at sea level. I am trying a run with vitamino all the way through to see if I notice a difference.

I use RO/SS's amino aide religiously. I replaced it with vitamino for 2 cycles. Cant say i was pleased by any means, but that was just my experience. Still not even sure if that was an even substitute.:) big fan of botanicare though, those dudeZ hooked me up with a lifetime supply of bics!

Its nowhere near the same substitute. Amino aid is a 5-0-0 and without looking at vitamino label i believe it has 0 NPK VALUE.

Yup i do tend to judge a book by its cover.... ran outta AA and used a sample of vitamino as the replacement... still dont think its a game changer by any meanZ:)

Amino treatment, amino aide, amino blast, amino smino stupid gimmick. Amino aide makes ph go way the fuck down. Why i dint know but i aint gots time for that business.

AA is a decent product but i try and stay organic.

its kind of organic ha. besides the kelp and yucca, it has L-Glycine and L-Arginine and i know that plants do uptake simple sugars such as glucose but Arginine? from my recent research (aka wikipedia) Arginine is used in Viagra. so if Arginine makes my buds hard as dick than im down... just clownin. good to know..is it just the Botanicare Cal-Mag? I switched to GO and then my spot was out so I grabbed Magi-Cal.
On topic: I always thought the Botanicare line lacked something as well.
