The morphology of the plants, this is because different tissue require slightly different amounts. So say blue leads to less stem elongation and more leaf development. Thus the amounts of each tissue change as a whole and in turn the demand on nutrientsMan, what is it about the LEDs or blue spectrum that causes such a nutrient shift? Compared to HPS/red ?
Ahaha! The morphology of the plants, this is because different tissue require slightly different amounts. So say blue leads to less stem elongation and more leaf development. Thus the amounts of each tissue change as a whole and in turn the demand on nutrients
Green also can effect this as do all spectrums
Fuck yeaMan, what is it about the LEDs or blue spectrum that causes such a nutrient shift?/demand Compared to HPS/red ?
Wonder if the “compact” has an affect, is there more cells in compact “blue plants” compared to to “red” plants that grow more elongated? Therefore more nutrient for cellular division?
I no clue just thoughts.
Full spectrum meaning better overall growth/demand = more nutrients
They have to “tune” photoreceptors/make more for the spectrum it’s receiving ?
I wanna study this shit more in depth.
Down, I Go.That is why in veg a more blue spectrum is favourable for tight leafy growth to bump up photosynthesis.
Red leaning for flower for more root, shoot and bud development.
But not only do they have an effect on morphology partly controlled by hormone signaling but also compounds like cannabinoid production.
The rabbit hole is a deep one lol.
Good place to start. Then you can look up the references to the sudies for more details.Fuck yea

Yeah he has some really amazing ones packed with knowledgewatching out for Bugbee Videos too
This is where @Moe.Red makes me jealous. Tuneable spectrum ftw lolTook a light from veg tent, might put the red one in veg
Right I can some what fuck around with thatThis is where @Moe.Red makes me jealous. Tuneable spectrum ftw lol
Nope but cant be good. Its likely larvae of some sort of bug@Aqua Man you know what the fuck this is?
And how?
