hahahah I think Funk made a cross with BB3 that turned out pretty good, remember seeing a strain review for it. Yeah I don't know much about breeding or pollen chucking yet if thats not already obvious. But I'm down to give it a shot! This is cool as hell man, eventually something really awesome is going to pop open for ya. Whos gonna test the beans? I can pop a few but maybe I could talk someone into it thats above the 5 patient law. Those people are all about popping beans.

Have any pics of the red columbian X afghani?

I dunno about the BB#3, just because an "elite clone" doesn't really ever breed out very well, hybrid elites are usually an unstable genetic. :boogie:

This is very true, the BB3 would not be good for a breeding project, who knows what you would get.

I'd like to see a little more self respect from certain posters regarding things like elite clones. I swear some guys would suck a dick for a cut... just pathetic. IT'S A FUCKING PLANT! THERE ARE MILLIONS OF VARIETIES..... have some self respct AND QUIT FUCKING GROVELLING! It's disgusting... and you identify yourself as a "LAYDOWN MOTHERFUCKER!" Act like a man... don't grovel, for anyone.

yo, chill out bud spleefman. You gota be talking to me though, I don't see anyone bragging as much as I am about having Banner. So correct me if I'm wrong...Your probably referring to my post where I hooked up D9 with a little nug and said I was happy to get a really good strain. What can I say? Other than you need to stop thinking about dudes suckin dick for genetics. I need good genetics, theres no doubt about that, but nobody is sucking any dick. Just credit where credit is due! Yeah I have some respect for D9, a while ago he threw me an 8th of banner for free just for the hassle of getting called down to the shop and finding out my equipment was not there yet. free j's, bud, and equipment at close to wholesale. :cool0010:

That fort collins cough x bruce banner was an accidental pollination from a stray nanner from the banner..It was found in a friends grow and he grew out the resulting seeds...FWIW they def have intersex tendencies , but from what I gather there are very few cannabis plants the do not carry the self-preserving gene...I would hardly call this breeding..this is just growing out bagseed, however I was pleasantly surprised with the results... :passingjoint:

mMm.. agreed, the Mr. Nice g13 X hashplant is most likely a stabilized strain. It would be better to pollinate that G13 X HP versus one I would do myself, as I might get alot of variation out of the phenos. That holds true unless Mr. Nice just did a hybrid and didn't stabilize the strain, then it will be about the same.

I'm down for that one dorje!

Here's the red ghani crossed to a bhodi satva my friend ran. I don't have pics of the red ghani yet, but soon to come.

Cool, I will be taking clones in a couple days so I'll take a couple extra Mr. Nice clones.

Only other thing I can think of (with what I've got) is carry on the Sativa theme and cross PRed (and the hp too?) to Willie Nelson (Thai x Nepalese)... haven't flowered out the willie yet but mopho says its from thc in Rollinsville, so it's probably good... I'll know pretty soon anyway... supposed to go a little long but be great quality and a huge yielder.

reeferman's cross of vietnamese black and nepalese highland. That sounds like a good cross with the P red or maybe we can hit it with the malawi too. That would be good hit with a burmese as well. I'll have some JOTI ambrosia males (godbud(it's skunk X purps) X burmese) soon.

ALLLLLL right.... The lineup. I have clones of these and I will just be collecting pollen on this run as I didn't realize they would be dumping sacks so damn fast.

Taskenti, taskenti, taskenti, panama red, panama red.

I usually use a salsa container to collect pollen. I pick out the flowers with tweezers, put in the fridge for a few days and then I freeze it. Anyone got a better method for storing pollen?

very nice....make sure that your pollen and or flower pods are absolutely dry before you put them in the fridge.
I have had moisture build up after placing it in the fridge thus resulting in ruined pollen.

Dank you very much Dr. Evil!

I understand moisture ruins pollen, but I didn't really take moisture IN the pollen into account. How long do you leave it out? a few cocktails? har har

Some dessicant bags should help

If you don't want pollen blow by (such as pollinating 1 branch in your grow room) it helps to spray your plant after pollination with water and a wetting agent (a few drops of non-phosphorous dish soap is coo). blow by will probably still happen but it's not as bad.

Plants look good man. Are they cracking the plastic pots open yet? lol

what about storing pollen in mason jars? You could even vacuum seal it. Thats what I plan on doing with some cuts to preserve the genetics in case something happens. Theres a food saver attachment for like 10 bucks and you need a hand held vacuum pump as well, going to try using a vacuum line off my cars engine first. Can't rev it too high for extra vacuum or I might boost the jar into a million glass shards. Maybe I should use a naturally aspirated engine for this experiment. haha

lol it will still build boost with the line off if the stutterbox engages but I gota be pretty stupid to rev it to 5k rpms and let that happen. I'll hit maximum vac reving it to 2500-3000. The lopey cams make the engine vac a lot lower than stock and normally forced induction engines won't built boost while free reving, only while driving under a load. Unless you're equiped with a stutterbox which likes to build 15psi from a dig.

Maybe I should disable the stutterbox or unbolt a charge pipe just to play it safe. haha Ok i'm done talkin about rigging a car up to a mason jar, back to trimmin some Colorado Cough. PEACE!

I don't know about this car stuff you're discussing, but my bartending experience tells me that a wine bottle sealer would be more affordable and less risky than attempting to seal a mason jar with a car. Just my two cents.
