Is better for me to sts spray one lower branch then isolate to keep tops

What I have found is that spraying one and or multiple branches . Sts get in there and affects the whole plant blocking for a shorter time frame.
You spray say and plant goes into flower mode. Male sacs appear in few weeks then another few to open. Then plant will start putting out more pistols and show and grow more female like.

Now if your isolation is to smoke those buds, I’m going to say bad idea.

Enjoy and good luck.

I plan on only reverse one branch on an auto and covering it so it does not pollinate the rest of the plant

Have definitely applied pollen to one area, but was also holding it.

To produce on the same plant and then pollinate one branch will be interesting.

First things first, you need to get some viable pollen from your plant.

Some can be quite stingy on that process.
