So my UK buddy and I are going to do a joint (pun intended) grow diary. We are both rolling with new seedlings 1 - 2 weeks and will document what we are doing on a weekly basis or so. This might be a few months long, but it's all about the journey right? Right :D

Ok Grow Methodology for mine is as follows:

1) Light - Old School 24/7 Veg: 12 outside under sun. 12 inside under flouros. 12/12 for Bloom. Light cycle for bloom is pure sun.
2) Nutes - Fox Farm Grow, Bloom, and Bloom Booster (their standard trio)
3) Water - Well comes out of the ground at 5.8. I don't measure/meter run off. Hell I don't meter it going into the dirt either.
4) Grow Medium - Perlite + Cow Shit + Top Soil. I may switch to a Pro Mix when they get up potted to their bags.
5) C02 - Whatever the earth provides
6) Containers - Standard nursery seedling trays, 8 inch standard plastic pots, final resting spot will be 5 gallon cloth grow bags.

Ok remember Rule #1: Learn all you can :)

Dude it is ALL good. I learn every day and I've been growing for like 1/2 my life literally (25+ years). I'm an old guy so back in my day we had jiffy pellets, garden soil, miracle grow or general hydroponics nutes, really hot expensive lights, and when hydro first came out, NO ONE knew wtf they were doing. It was ALL experimental. I started with Flood and Drain in hydro. And out of EVERYTHING I've used, I like that and NFT the best for water. I've used aero in numerous formats, direct feed, drip, passive, gah and so much wasted time and effort... most importantly... money.

The reasons I'm in dirt is wide reaching. My indoor grow burned up with my house last year. LEDs, a KILLER NFT system, two custom grow rooms, C02 injector, etc. And honestly I was so bummed out about losing my seedbank, notes, genetic research, 11 momma bonsais that were all 3+ years old that I didn't want to grow again anytime soon. Was like fuck it. Well until I started having to pay for weed again. My wife sort of kicked me in the ass and said figure it out. It's part of you.

So... I scavenged together bits and parts that were laying around in a storage barn on my farm. Grow bags, soil, a couple of old 4 x 2 T8 Flouro fixtures. Then a buddy helped me out with some clones. And a trip to to a dispensary landed me some good seed stock.

This plant is the first that will finish out of my new grow. It came from a clone, has been pollenated with some weird old school purple sativa, and I've harvested 52 seeds off of it. 6 are germing now. 1 sprouted right in the bag. Promptly transplanted it. I harvested 4 nodes early for some weak quick smokage. But you can see it's been defoliated of fan leaves and is all about nug and cola growth at this point. The bloom it's on is number 3 and probably its final. I'm hoping to harvest it in 2 weeks or so. Every time I put a time frame on it, the thing busts out with new growth. And that's fine with me. Nugs are tight and dense as hell. And if you look closely you'll see bonsai wire tied into the inner nodes. I did that to force the sativa like growth to shoot straight out. And the inner nugs benefited in a huge way.

Anything you want to know, just ask. If I don't know the answer, LittleDabbie, Aquaman, Beachwalker, Ansel and the rest of the guys who have been doing this for a while too will know for sure. The journey is the fun part. You'll find that smoking the shit you grow will cause you to remember the grow. What was good. What was bad. And what could be better.

I'm telling you, there is magic in these beans... :D

I have to take it slow and easy. Sippin tequila is all i can handle anymore. My shootin' days are long gone. Now a good smoke and some smoky tequila and the world is all good. I did a Taquila taste testing tour in Mexico over 3 days. It was fun (I think. I know I didn't get arrested...) but I don't remember most of it

However what i do remember was the start of the night when the host lined up 10 glasses with various types of tequila. We got the 411 on each as we tasted and sampled. Ending with Don J. smoothest i have ever tasted.

Nice job so far man :) Wanted to toss in a side note that might help you. I'm a vet from the first sandbox. So lots of demons lurk about sometimes and they can be a bitch. And I'm way opposed to pills for anything except ultra physical pain and bacterial infection. Mood stabilizers and zombifyers can suck it imo.

Enter CBD and my big ass gallon CBD jar...

Its organic prozac. No real high at all. Decent body buzz. Good relaxing calm. No distracting stoned qualities.

The plants behave just like the good weed. And they do well with that "throw em outside for the sun and inside at night to flower" routine so that valuable light space inside isnt messed with.

Thought the suggestion mght help you a bit in your journey.

I hear exactly what your saying dude.
I hate pills but my self with all the different mental issues I like to have a variety of strengths insomnia side is a killer I haven't found anything apart from a cbd companion lime which was bloody amazing.

any help along the way is fine by me buddy where learning every second of out lives so be a fool to disregard your fountain of knowledge

Oh I totally get it. A buddy of mine dropped some no name sticky icky sticky on me yesterday. He should call that strain Knock Outz or something lol. That CBD is great for work time and stuff. Like the day time put a lid on the rattle in the brain pan kind of thing :)

Once I've banked up my supply again I'll start growing for effect. Right now I'm in a frenzy to get a bunch up and into the jars :)

I’m up potting my PMM for this grow off In the next day or so. They probably aren’t going to be as fast as yours though. Back in my day purple was so rare that I always jump at the chance to grow them.

Ah the first pineapple muffins hanging. In the future the only way I'll grow this strain is topped and lst'd. Yields are going to be light and they finished way too fast. The second pic is the third plant that is exactly that :)

Always very fun and exciting to have new trees developing and growing for the light.
not sure why these guys are so gangly and stretched. I have the light very close to them. though it is only a cheap 60w blurple led panel. I know this is your thing, but mind if I tag along. I did just put these nine seeds in the dirt last week.
