I'm running it now I understand it is a fairly temperamental strain, but so far so good. It has respOnded really well to FIMing.

ive always topped my pre-98s @ 18 inches then flowered @ 24 inches. they dont really need much nutes. it practically grows itself.

I FIM'd every top on my pre-98 once, and on twice on the other. They are both bushy and top heavy as hell.

Do you have any pictures of your pre-98?

unfortunately not. lost the cut in a move.

for me fimming never really worked on indicas just sativas.

i would top the main stem @ 18 inches and then top the top 2 shoots to allow the rest of the plant to catch up. at about 24 inches the canopy would be pretty much if not even. then they would be flipped and would finish 10 weeks later around 36-ish inches tall giving me roughly 3 zips per plant under a 1k.

also i would remove the larger fans from the plants around 5-5.5 weeks into flower. every nugget was a fat bowl pack....no larf what so ever.
